Same here. It is taking forever to process/load once you enter all those IDs. But I think they said it in the email that it will be very busy since everyone is trying to log into the website at the same time.
True, maybe it is just overloaded. I couldn't even get to the log in screen though. When I clicked the link, it took Chrome a good 10-15 sec before saying the webpage is not available. I guess I'll just have to try later
MSAR says you're a little below their average in GPA (but above 10th percentile) and right on their MCAT average. Very reasonable!

Yes, Wake's average is 33. There are a bunch of schools with averages of 32. I know Rowan University has a 31 average. I bet there are more though. This is all according to MSAR.
Also, Creighton would probably be an example of a better known school with a 31 MCAT average.
While I have no particular inside knowledge of Wake's admissions practices, I obsessively read through the past three years' SDN threads about Wake and there's been no mention of special treatment of multiple MCAT scores. So either Wake considers all MCAT scores when evaluating an applicant, as most MD schools do in the US, or the method by which they evaluate MCAT scores is a well-kept secret that no one here will be able to divulge. Because Wake has no real reason to do something like superscore or look only at an applicant's best score, I'm assuming it's the former case.
But since you mentioned "make or break," I'm a little curious. If you want to PM me your stats and relevant info (ECs, SES, URM status, ties to NC, whatever you think is important), I'd be happy to give you one lady's opinion of your chances at Wake. Remember, though, your chance of getting into any one school in particular is something of a crapshoot - You may get accepted despite your application's weaknesses or you may get rejected despite your application's awesomeness. There are just SO. MANY. APPLICANTS.
What? Rowan university has a D.O. school (formerly UMDNJ), and it's mcat is a 28+ average
I don't know about that. I just gave numbers found in the most recent MSAR edition.

This was my exact thought when I realized that I didn't have another one on my plate for this weekend.
LOL me too. I finally get a little break after the past 2 weeks. Which is great because next week I have 5 scribe shifts in a row Monday thru Friday...

You just described the last two weeks of my life perfectly.
in places like wake forest and the nearby triangle area, its very tolerant. nearby durham is pretty liberal in my opinion, chapel hill is a lot of fun and great town. i'm from the northeast and i had a really easy time getting used to the research triangle area.

Life's good depending in where you live. Climate is moderate except in Boone, where it can get freakishly cold. Not everyone is intolerant, just mostly the uneducated rednecks.
I moved to Winston-Salem from progressive Massachusetts and worried about the same thing. What @cupcakesandcadavers said above matches up with my experience, though I'll admit that I haven't been here too long.
The other thing to keep in mind is the importance of being the change you want to see in the world. Sure, you can move to hippie utopia Vermont and be perfectly happy, or you can move to a borderline state and really improve matters by using your voice and your votes to help outnumber the intolerant.

submitted! that was probably my fastest turnaround time on a secondary haha i'm really glad they didn't change the prompts!
For the required essays, it says to pick at least 2. Do most people write all 3? I hope it wouldn't count against us to just write 2 considering the 1-week deadline🙁

I don't think it should. If it says optional, then it should be "optional". If you don't have much to say, don't submit the 3rd one. Quality >Quantity
I only wrote two, because I feel like my answers for two of them would have had a similar theme to the third.

No secondary here either. Those of you who have received one already, are you in IS/OOS?
Quick questions for the letter requirement. My school does not send a committee letter, but will send a letter packet of three letters (two science faculty, one non-science). These cannot be split up and Wake will receive all three. Should I list these as a school letter service and put one name as the evaluator name? (One of the science professors, or the guy who is sending the letter packet, but who didn't write the letters?) Or should I list these as individual letters Wake will receive?
