Also every time my phone dings I have a mini heart attack. That combined with the fact that I'm on my way to my first final (that I didn't study for) might kill me.

I was at work all day on October 15th just staring at my phone. When I left around 4:30 CST, I had pretty much given up hope. I was lying on my bedroom floor in a pile of self-pity when I got the call around 6:00 CST. Don't freak out, they call people throughout the entire day.

I read, but don't usually comment. I figured people would want to know that the calls had started, so yes. I've been accepted at other schools prior to today, so it wasn't done to brag or receive congrats. Good luck to you and your future patients, though...

Besides the stress from today's possible Loyola acceptance, I have an interview tomorrow and I will receive my post interview decision from Rush on Friday. This is the most anxiety filled week I've had in a long time. To add to the stress, I missed a call from a 312 area code phone number this morning. I googled the number, it was a telemarketer.

Ikr it's driving me nuts lol... I don't think they do silent rejections. So hopefully we will hear something soon.

That's the name of the group. And don't worry all, i got my phone call at around 4pm PST, and i know they made calls later in the day than that, so there's still plenty of time to hear.

Looks like I won't be getting the call today. Not surprised, given that my interviewer thought my accomplishments were worthless and that I showed no proof of an interest in medicine. Not too beat up about it. Congrats to everyone who got accepted today!

The lady said they're doing some system maintenance today, so don't anticipate things to change until tomorrow. But she said if we don't get our letter in the mail (I have a bad history of losing mail), the instructions will be up tomorrow on the portal.
