Is this the "small pool" that everyone is mentioning? because I've had this message for a while now.

Small pool as well sometime recently (haven't been checking portal regularly)
 
Sent them an email asking when they think my app would be reviewed (going on 19+ weeks complete) 🙁

Also asked what dates they are currently scheduling interviews to try and see how much longer of a cycle they have..
 
Got the same generic response that my application will be reviewed in the next couple weeks and to check my portal.

Got the same response when I emailed in late Novemeber 🙁

It has been a couple of weeks UVM! Please love me

Hey if it helps, my application was complete August 13, and I was put under preliminary review on December 21

Yea I was in a similar situation. I was complete late August and I was put under review 2 weeks ago and got small pooled a week later. I actually got put under preliminary review right after emailing them. Literally the same day.
 
I went under prelim review yesterday, and today I'm in that small pool to which an interview may be extended. Maybe I have hope, the quick turnaround time might be a good sign???!? Complete 8/25 , now if only my home state UConn could give me an update haha

This is the only school I haven't heard back from. I've been complete since mid October and my application status hasn't changed at all. I'm starting to think they use secondary applications for fundraising! Has anyone else heard back who submitted their primary and secondary applications late in the game like me?

I'm still just hoping to actually get reviewed. They are still processing my application.

For anybody still patiently waiting for news, I found this on their website.

Question: When do you begin interviewing and on what days?

Answer: Our interview season begins in September and continues through April. Our interview days are by invitation only and are scheduled on week days and Saturdays.

When did they tell you guys that you would hear back? I'm pretty sure they said end of January for us, but I don't know if that seems likely

On December 5th they said February, possibly January if they got caught up with November interviewees.

I'm not sure, but I've been small pooled for months now and I hope something comes of it. It appears this school moves slower than most and interviews can be extended in March so I'm holding on unless I get rejected.

They told us sometime in January after the holiday, "If you don't hear back by the end of January something is wrong" Hopefully all is well up at UVM haha
 
What does the portal say for everyone post-interview? Mine just changed today to:

"We hope that you enjoyed your interview at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and that you were able to learn more about our school, curriculum and life in Burlington.
Your file will now be reviewed by the Admissions Committee and you will be notified in the coming weeks regarding the final decision of the committee."
