I'm pretty sure it does. Once you're married your spouse usually becomes your next of kin legally

Everyone must choose a foundation. Applications are optional. We are required to complete 12 scholarly concentration units. If you only choose a foundation area, you complete all 12 units in that foundation. If you choose a foundation/application combo, you do 6 units in the foundation and 6 in the application. I don't think you can choose an application area only.

Last year, I didn't get a secondary until after my AMCAS was verified.

Is the "Health Beliefs and Attitude Survey" new to the Stanford secondary this year? I hadn't seen any info about it in prior years. Such an interesting part of the application!

Edit: Guess I really didn't look that hard, because it's definitely not new. But still, I think it's a cool aspect of the secondary.

Primary care, more or less, is family med, internal med, and peds. Cards and anes =/= primary care

Can someone tell me what an average week is like at Stanford? Specifically, how much time is spent in lecture or other scheduled school required activities? I am wondering how much time is available in the curriculum to study/do ECs as I do better studying the material outside of class than I do in, so I would be against an 8-5 type of schedule

Got an II via email this morning! Proceeded to jump up and down until I realized it was July and Stanford usually begins sending out invites in August. I log into the portal to find that there were no available interview dates. Basically feels like the invite is a mistake at this point 🙁

I email the admissions office. Prompt reply says it wasn't a mistake and to wait for updates to the interview schedule.

Right there with you- since it's a new question I'm wondering if they're just looking for a general approach? Although we always hear "show, don't tell" so I don't even know where to begin with this one.

Pretty sure it's a new question this year. I prewrote essays according to last year's secondary, and it wasn't on there.
Given the limited space, I just wrote a general approach: possible courses of actions and what I think should be considered when addressing the situation. I don't think there is a "right" answer, but there are answers that might be better than others.

I just hit the two week mark today (currently working full time). Definitely didn't pre write enough but I thought I would be fine submitting in the 2-3 week time frame. Are they strict about turnaround time being indicative of interest?
