So I work 11a-11p today. I've only been here 30 minutes but it feels like it's been a couple hours already. Just anticipating checking the portal tonight is torture lol. Sending good vibes to all!

As long as you interviewed, you still have a chance. Who knows how big, but it's there. People get in in May and June.

Edit: just realized you were asking about IIs, which I think are over at this point.

Just got rejected from the PRIME program :'(
They forwarded my application to the regular MD program where my chances are pretty slim.

Me too. What makes you say slim chances? I hope that's inaccurate.
 
During my entire shift today I was so distracted by all of this. Now I'm 30 minutes away to maybe experiencing the best day of my life..... or just sadness and stress, as usual. lol.
 
I'm preparing for nothing... If it's nothing, I hope it kickstarts me applying for post baccs cause I haven't had the motivation to do it...
 
I'm trying to prepare for nothing because that is most likely right now, but my stomach isn't buying it. So nauseated.

But folks, last year SDN posts seem to show acceptances a week after the deadline ~22ish?

Then again I know they've been optimizing, which explained my presence 😉

Right? But at the same time I believe what I have already put in is enough to demonstrate my potential and you probably feel the same. Why should we have to pay institutions for enhancement and become deeper indebted to the system?

Absolutely, and I'm unsure about doing it to be completely honest. It will run be around 50k.. for a CHANCE of being accepted...
 
Since they seem to be behind schedule, maybe we can expect next week. By now, I feel like somebody would have posted about an acceptance.
 
Could Match possibly have anything to do with the delay?
 
I'm pretty sure last year, acceptances went out first and last week of March. So maybe next week we can do this craziness again 😛
