Received interview invitation 10/3 for January 17, the only available slots for me were in January, kinda late in the game, but I'm very grateful to be considered by University of Toledo. Secondary was submitted 8/19, 63.5 LizzyM, OOS, pretty high MCAT and pretty low GPA

I would say yes to updates. Why? Because it cannot hurt you.

Care to talk a bit about your interview experience?

It was MMI style with 10 stations, 8 stations had prompts and interviews and the other two stations were break stations. You had two minutes to read the prompt and then 6 minutes to respond. Usually the response would not take 6 minutes and you would be ask follow up questions. Also, there was a 5 min. break after the first 5 stations. Overall the day was good and not too long. Let me know if you have an specific questions and I would be happy to answer.

I tried calling, but I got voicemail both times. There's also no good way not to sound impatient through email. The Toledo MSAR page says they will notify applicants of a decision within 6 weeks of their interview.. but my 6 weeks was yesterday. They can't wait forever, but it will probably be another weekend of not knowing.
