Have any OOS peeps that interviewed early October heard anything yet? I feel like I'm being ghosted over here...

Anyone know if it's still possible to interview here? I submitted my secondary in late-July but it's but nothing but silence since then...

Deep, dark feeling of dread is starting to creep in

Ugh, anybody from early October OOS get an acceptance?

Still plenty of acceptances to hand out! Also, I bet a lot of y’all will probably hear back between Thanksgiving and Christmas. As for us who interviewed in November... I’m expecting mid-January. And now we wait!

Has anyone been rejected post interview? Or do they just let you know in March if you are rejected?

For IS applicants please indicate if you have rec'd II from Colorado if you attended CC or DU.

Has anyone been successful getting feedback on their application? I found out a few weeks ago that I did not receive an II here this year after HPWL placement last year, and making what I thought were significant improvements to my application. I know they don't usually give feedback, but I'm at a loss
I'm an MS2 at CU and I have a pretty good understanding of what they look for. I'd be willing to take a look at whatever you've got and I'll be honest with you about where there may be any issues preventing you from getting an II.

Im dying over here lol
Knowing that my biggest dream may be fulfilled or crushed (probably crushed given that the calls seem to have stopped) in the next four hours is great... totally healthy levels of stress right now...

Hahah why do you say next four hours? Will we know if were rejected by then?

No, I know folks that received acceptances months after other people from their interview day did so not hearing today definitely doesn’t mean rejection. That said, if I miss today’s acceptance train I won’t be too stoked on my chances.

I realize how true this is for everyone watching this thread, but there is nothing that would make me happier than receiving a call tomorrow. I have dreamt of going to CU SOM since my pursuit of medicine began. Fingers crossed October calls aren’t over. Good luck peeps!

For everyone who hasn't heard back yet, please keep your faith in the holistic review process. As an OOS, re-applicant, ORM, I felt like I had everything against my favor. The day before the interview, I even remember complaining to current students in the pre-interview social about how I felt disadvantaged in every way possible. Connected well with my interviewers, but had some really dumb answers to the trickiest questions. Admissions results clearly proved me wrong and after several disheartening years plagued with frustration and uncertainty, this girl was finally sent some turkey love from an amazing institution. For those in limbo right now, please realize that hard work pays off in the end and that one special school will see the light in you. At the end of the day, you will still be graduating with the word, MD, attached to your name, and can settle down where ever you choose after completing training. It will be a long, difficult path, but totally rewarding and worth it in the end. Sending everyone my turkey love! Muah 😍

Congrats!! If you don't mind me asking, which date did the offer you?

Missed phone call from Dr. Z yesterday with a voicemail saying to call her back. She was out of office today and no official acceptance email yet. No medical schools call to reject/waitlist candidates as far as I know. Is it safe to assume I'm accepted at Colorado?
