Honestly, this was my most relaxed interview day I had. My interviewer made us coffee! 🙂 It was refreshing to have the questions be more of who are you such as what makes you happy? or what is your favorite memory? Each experience is probably unique to the interviewer but overall it was a great day with lots of time to ask questions. There is a faculty interview 1 on 1 open file. Then there was an ethical situation essay on the ipad that was straightforward. Good luck!

I'd say that's possible, who knows though. I wish they didn't even give us a timeline to be honest, kind of makes it worse imo

This will be I 76 traffic to get to Drexel from the airport. If you are the morning interviews give about one hour for traffic and if the afternoon give about 40 to 45 minutes. Was just in Philly this weekend

When I got my interview invite, they had a few Saturday options in late October/Early November, if I remember correctly! I think all dates are open for everyone

Sooooooo, Dr. Berardi told us that they are having "decision meetings" on various days throughout the cycle; the first one being earlyish November (11/8?)and at which point decisions will come out after. I interviewed today and she said that not all of us would be decided upon that day. the next decision meeting day is ~dec, ~Feb, etc. Hope this helps lighten the nerves!

Congrats on finishing the interview! What time did you wrap up the interview day? What did you think of Drexel??

Thank you! It ended just before 2pm. I LOVED this school. The staff and students are so friendly and supportive. Drexel has everything I am looking for in a school (innovative curriculum, and HUGE commitment to civic engagement). It is without a doubt my top choice!

This may be a bit of a neurotic question, but when they said “not all of [you] would be decided upon that day” were they saying that some of your interview group (oct 27th) would be decided on in that meeting? Just trying to figure out what that might mean for my interview group (oct 9-11).

I was there as well and I took it as just the group I interviewed with, but who knows. Find a way to distract yourself, it’s a loooooong process my friend

Hmmm that sounds like good news for the earlier groups if they’re going to get to at least some of your group on the 8th.

But you’re right...I need to be one with the waiting. Easier said than done, lol.

mine was 30 mins on the dot, the interviewer made it a point to say that we couldn’t go a second over 30 mins

They allocate 30 minutes. Some last less, some more. Mine went about 10-15 minutes over.
