hopping on the R train, complete early aug, received under review email october. my theory is that a reviewer just finished his/her pile, and the previous R-turned-IIs were, in fact, a faulty reviewer's pile as mentioned above in someone's post!

Yeah, sent update letters with new publications in November and March, and a LOI later on in early May.
