I think the prevailing hypothesis is “screening complete” while ss is “screening started” but this is all entirely conjecture, nobody knows for sure....... it’s all very mysterious

I think SS. People who were put on SC never got an II. From what people say, SC is basically a hold/soft reject.

Afternoon. I speculate that everybody who was accepted today interviewed with a person who had the power to make an immediate decision regarding an acceptance. As far as I know, not even people who interviewed weeks ago have found out yet. I think the majority of people will fall into the 3 weeks to 1 month category in terms of decisions.

I agree. My interviewer was on the admissions committee and we really connected during our discussion.

In previous years, Wayne offered 200/500 acceptances off the waitlist so there is definitely hope. But I’m not sure how that’s going to change with the new AAMC rules.

Do you happen to know if the waitlist is ranked in any way? Like does it benefit us at all to be waitlisted relatively early on?

Not on this thread so far, consensus is that sc is a hold, so Adcom is probably trying to get through ss first before re-reviewing sc, but this is just speculation,so take it with a grain of salt.

i got waitlisted too so im pretty sad about that lol. think it just sucks cause both my interviewers told me straight up that they had nothing negative to say about me and that they were rooting for me. so i had these high hopes when the day ended
