LOL if it weren't early you would be anxious too! The most anxious SDNers are those who get a February interview with Baylor that falls AFTER TMDSAS Match Day and will be asking the question "Am I just interviewing for the Wait List?" (the answer is no, all interviews give you your chance to show your personality and have a chance at admission)

Hahaha you are completely right and I am so so grateful to have an early interview. I just have heard that interviews get a lot smoother and better as you go through the process, and for a school like Baylor I was hoping I'd be a well-oiled machine by my interview!! But I still have 3 before Baylor so it will hopefully be fine!!!! Thank you so much for your reality check though, it's helpful to try to keep this whole crazy process in perspective.

I didn’t have a problem with it. I used chrome. Is that what you’re using?
 
I submitted my secondary 7/1 and my letters are still not showing up in the BCM portal, even though my LORs are complete at every other school. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Thanks for the help
 
Just got an II this evening! Stoked. Verified 6/10. Complete 7/14. IS. LM 75. Interview date given was Sept 13th.

For those of y'all that rescheduled, did they just assign another date or did you have any input? I'm worried they will just give me the next week which is my already rescheduled UTMB interview.

Yeah, normally they just assign you another date.

When you ask for a different date, be enthusiastic and say "I can be there any date except Sept 20" for example. This will dodge the problem you mentioned.
 
So how common is it to leave the first two questions blank? I feel as if leaving one blank generally leaves the other blank. The reason being that I am an undergrad student still and therefore have not started a career or a gap year yet. Is anyone else in the same boat? Will this put me at a disadvantage since 2/3rds of the secondary therefore does not apply? I'm wondering if I can put a spin on these questions and still write somthing regardless.

Don't answer the questions if they don't apply to you. It will put you at a disadvantage if you don't follow directions.
 
Does anyone know if their character count includes spaces or not? I am trying to write it before my secondary arrives so I was hoping to plan accordingly. Thanks in advance

I'm having this exact same issue! All my letters were all in to AMCAS by late June, I submitted the Baylor secondary by July 3, and every other school had received my letters within the first week of July. It's August 6th, more than a MONTH after I submitted the secondary, and Baylor still doesn't have my letters? Does anyone know what we should do? Do we call Baylor admissions? Just wait it out?

Does it say your application is not complete?
Did you check AMCAS to see if your letters are assigned to Baylor?

Both good suggestions. Yes, checked AMCAS. Letters were properly assigned. As for the secondary, since I submitted it, I can't go back and look around in the portal. All I can do is log into a "check status" area which continues to say "one or more letters has not been received." AMCAS successfully transmitted all my letters to school in late June (most secondaries had my letters marked as received from the day I opened them) so this has to be some kind of processing delay on Baylor's end?

I would suggest contacting Baylor if they provide any email address.
 
Looking for advice on secondary, I have 3 possible topics:

- I've been a dancer for 18 years and teach free dance classes to low-income students
- My experience doing summer military training (infantry skills) and learning to overcome fear/stress - however I've talked about my millitary medical research in my PS and listed ROTC as a whole in my most meaningful so idk if this too overload
- parents being from mexico, experience in volunteering with the hispanic community and how I chose to pursue a spanish minor - but i already wrote about volunteering in my most meaningful...I could focus on specific anecdotes
