When should you send an update regarding a paper submission? Once you have submitted, or once it has been accepted? Also, should I take into account my authorship position when thinking about submitting an update?

Once it has been accepted. However, keep in mind that Michigan will accept updates but it likely will not have any influence on admissions (per the interview day)

Does that hold true for even people that haven’t gotten IIs? I feel like that is more of don’t email updates after interview bc it won’t have an influence on your post II decision, but not necessarily pre II lol.

Yes, most schools are fairly clear. Some are not. I have not checked for UMich.

Did anyone else receive an email reminding them to submit their secondary even though it was already submitted? I submitted my secondary back in August and just got a reminder yesterday.....The portal makes it look like I have one secondary app open and another one submitted. I have called and emailed, but I was just wondering if anyone else had the same issue.

I have 2 interviews left I have already booked flights and hotels for, 3 schools I would still like to hear back from, but beyond that I am likely going to withdraw from 9 schools today.

I have Case/cclcm, it is full ride and I would be doing myself a disservice by not seeing if my mind will change on Cleveland...but even if UMich was like 50% tuition vs full ride most places......UMich. I have only 2 other schools I have not heard back from though that I would interview at if offered, will turn down the rest.

Legit though, Carol is a godsend. When all of the students were saying “You're here for a reason unless Carol made a mistake, and she doesn’t make mistakes,” they were NOT exaggerating with how on top of everything she is. Goodness gracious (in a good way lol)
