i guess if nothing in our portal yet it means im rejected?
Do they send out all acceptances at the same time? Should i be worried if some people who interviewed the same day as me have already heard back when I haven't?
Thanks
I interviewed on 1/14 and checked the portal late last night and had the accepted check list just one day after the interview. I called today to make sure it is real, and they confirmed I am accepted! So happy this feels surreal.Interviewed 01/09 and got the accepted student checklist! No official email/call yet
hi-five!Got accepted today! First A of the cycle. Interviewed 1/9, LM 69.
Didn't receive any email, just found out on the portal after seeing everyone's acceptance posts who interviewed the same day.

Hello, I was recently accepted and had some questions about clinical sites. I believe I was told at the interview that you rank your clinical sites and they are then put into an algorithm. Is this correct?Hey all, current third year here. Feel free to tag me in any questions. I'll do my best to check and respond.
Search for AZCOM 2024 and Midwestern Campus networkAlso do we start may 27?
Only the 2023 page shows up :/Search for AZCOM 2024 and Midwestern Campus network
I’ve heard it’s first come first serve after presentations on the sites. Trades are possible afterwards.Hello, I was recently accepted and had some questions about clinical sites. See calendar on portal. If I recall orientation was early august. Also do we start may 27?
OMG that's what i asked earlier too... so confused if may or aug but I'm leaning towards beleiving its augustI noticed the orientation and start dates listed on the academic calendar online are different than on the paper they gave us at the interview. Anyone have an idea of which we should rely on being correct?

Anybody (especially current students) know if it is reasonable to live in downtown phoenix and make the commute everyday? Judging from online it looks like it would be a 25-30 min drive each way.
The drive is 1 hr at 5pm per google mapsI'm on the II waitlist but I live in AZ so I can comment on this. I drove about 20 minutes every day for undergrad (to ASU), it's doable, but gets old fast. I guess it really depends how often you're going to be on campus (I don't have that info), but I prob wouldn't recommend. It's a discouragement to going to campus multiple times per day because of the commute, it's costly because of gas, and you're going to be fighting traffic coming in and out, especially if you live in downtown, which will make your drive much worse. AZCOM sits in a suburb of Phoenix, so there's going to be cheaper living areas nearby anyway most likely.
Oh wow thanks for your insight. Definitely some food for thought! Hope you get off the waitlist soon!I'm on the II waitlist but I live in AZ so I can comment on this. I have a friend who is currently in the Dental Program at AZCOM. I stayed with him for interview and went down for his white coat ceremony. He lives in apartments directly across from campus, the complex is insanely nice. Has a resort style pool, big spacious rooms, on site gym and plenty of parking. It also walking distance to campus and only a few minute drive to the stores and the local gym. The rent is super cheap, I would look into those apartments first before trekking from the city imo.Anybody (especially current students) know if it is reasonable to live in downtown phoenix and make the commute everyday? Recently interviewed at CCOM, currently have an A at AZCOM. Does anyone know if AZCOM's preclinical curriculum organizes lectures weekly by symptom like CCOM does rather than systems based lectures? Thanks in advance.
What is the name of the apartment complex? I’m looking around but I think being close to campus is what I want more than anything.I have a friend who is currently in the Dental Program at AZCOM. It’s called San Lagos and it’s in GlendaleWhat is the name of the apartment complex? I’m looking around but I think being close to campus is what I want more than anything.
Honestly, San lagos is probably a top 10 most expensive apartment complex in Glendale. Its nice but if you're going to rely on student loans I would recommend looking around at other places. The traffic within Glendale is fine (ie mostly nonexistent) and it's easy to live within 15-20 minutes. Most of the students that live at san lagos seem to be relying on their parents or are getting quite a bit of help. The rent is close to 1500 for a 1 bedroom and thats frankly not possible off just the student loan budget so you'll be stressing yourself more than necessary. That said, if your parents are helping, you have lots of savings, or you find a roommate and still want to pay about $800 (from what I've heard from classmates) then it is a very nice place to live. It’s called San Lagos and it’s in Glendale
