Anyone else expecting a response today still waiting?
I’m not, but does your vitals page still say congratulations on your interview?

I was wondering the exact same thing lolJust got an automated email that says that I am scheduled to complete "The Ohio State University College of Medicine Post Baccalaureate Program Application on 2020 Admission Class." Did everyone who apply get this or is this their nice way of saying I'm not getting an interview?

current ohio state student waiting for an II, application complete in late July
I talked to them a few weeks ago that they said their last interview date is like March 28thDoes anyone know when osu's cycle ends?
deferred on 12/3. OOS
does anyone know if OSU rejects post interview or does everyone whos not accepted get deferred? I think i read on last cycles thread that they do R, but i can't find it now
Just to hopefully ease your nerves I'm an alum who interviewed in October and I was the only (or maybe there was one more?) osu student there. They also gave us some info on a flash drive during the interview where, if I'm not mistaken, it said >70 of a class of around 200 were from osu. I think it may be true that they tend to hold off on IS / osu alumni until later in the cycle
I'm a current M1 and there are several students in our class who were IS or OSU alumni that weren't interviewed until the end of the cycle. I cannot 100% confirm that they are doing the same thing this year but that seems to be what happened last year!
Hey. Deferred interviewee here... do you know if it was common last year to be accepted from this list prior to April? Or should I just shut up and stop checkin till then?
Me. I havent gotten the email or vitals update yet, but I can feel it in my bones...Any recent IIs? This thread has been quiet

Silence from my end. I'm IS, LM 72, and have been complete since mid-August.
Hell yeah, would you mind me asking what date did they assign you for the interview?Got an II on new years eve. LM ~70, should be considered IS but could be OOS.
Lmao same everything here. I'm surprised at how silent the adcoms here are, could someone in columbus go in and check if they're ok?
Yeah...like could they at least tell me I'm on hold or something? Or hit me with that R? I've received IIs from schools with similar and higher stats than OSU, but OSU is still one of my top choices so I'm a little sad about the silence 🙁
For Ohio in-state residency you need to have lived in the state for 12 months and demonstrated your intent to live there (beyond just school) for example, by registering your car for OH, registering to become a citizen on OH/vote there, etc. You also need to be financially independent of anyone who's not a Ohio resident, so if your parents are OOS, they can't be making tuition payments or really helping you out much at all.Does anyone know what the requirements are for becoming an Ohio in-state resident? On interview day, it seemed like the majority of students were able to take advantage of in-state tuition starting in second year.
