I sent them an ITA a couple months ago and only got the R recently. Lol. They seemed to be conflicted about my app.

complete on 9/18 with a LM 80. Emailed the dean of admissions due to unforeseen change of my schedule on 9/28, 5 mins later, an R. Go figure.

I sent Admissions an ITA yesterday and was granted an II today! Complete 7/12.

edit: actually 11, Mayo MN and AZ, but it's one II in FL.

Ya’ll seem so excited to have them R’s incoming! Not me! I’m complete Sept 15-20 for almost every school. I’m ready for them II’s! Don’t relegate yourself to R’s! May as well not even applied with that attitude! Sure, we may lose some (even most) for applying later, but have some faith in yourself! We’ve all got some serious positives and deserve a good look at our apps!

I am late due to my MCAT score coming in around 9/18. Well, it hasn't prevented me from hearing back so far. fingers crossed. This process is so drawn out.

Not OP but they definitely don't. I got an II last week and was complete 7/20. People have received decisions with September complete dates.

And in all fairness OP had a 525 MCAT, so their experience may not be representative of UChicago's "standard timeline."

Based on Last year’s thread those October 15 acceptances are full rides....hoping the quick turnaround time means they like me enough? Assuming the interview wasn’t the absolute piece of garbage I feel it was as my first....meh, best not to worry until the call does or doesn’t come!

Keep positive! 10 acceptances is like 11% of the class which is a sizeable portion lol No one should be expectant and it is a long shot for everyone, but anything could happen!
