How long are Wayne’s MMI stations?

Are you allowed to take/use notes during the MMI? Can’t seem to find these answers on their website!

II! Today at 10pm lol, someone’s doing OT.
Complete 7/17, IS LM 73 WARS C

I felt pretty defeated with this school b/c my secondaries were frankly mediocre - they wanted us to talk about specific experiences/stories which I was really struggling to come up with. I ended up writing some narratives without too much significant meaningfulness but hey! apparently that worked out okay. So keep that in mind for anyone who thought they screwed up the secondaries as much as I did🙂

Applied 7/13 and still haven’t heard anything IS, LM 66. Should I be worried?

Who knows! Most admissions offices do not read files in linear fashion so just don’t read into anything. I was complete around then and also haven’t heard anything, but we haven’t been rejected and that’s all that matters.

I was going to say like, already know folks who did get rejected so I’m curious.

Also, really? They don’t read them in a linear fashion? How do they go about doing them then?

And best of luck to you too, my friend.

Some people might automatically get stratified into higher priority piles based on URM/high stats/etc. whereas a pretty basic, middle of the road app (like mine) might just take a while for them to reach. There certainly are schools who very much do seem to go in pretty much chronological order but I think that is the exception not the norm. Good luck to you too!

Damn, I saw wayne state has already given out more than 400 interviews. How many r they planning to give out this year?

Had an interview here this week and really enjoyed it. The interviewers were all very nice and although we didn't get to see much of the school or hear about the curriculum/opportunities, they gave us an extremely informative brochure that got me super excited about the school!

Missed the secondary deadline by a day is it still worth applying?

I did not see the month I just saw the two weeks in the email. Do you know where you read that it was a month? I will still work on it then.

I think people earlier on this thread have said that the 2 weeks is more of a recommendation than a hard deadline. I say shoot your shot.

I think I saw it in another year's forum. Can't find it now. Sorry 🙁

The 2 weeks thing is more of a guideline. I completed my secondary in three weeks and got an interview invite

So the interviews requested admissions tracker just went from mid-400s to 879, and now I’m terrified as I have yet to receive anything still.

My app still says "Your application is ready". Does this mean they haven't even reviewed it yet?

If that's the case then according to last year's MSAR they would basically not be inviting anyone else to interview. Unless the number reported is physical interviews attended and some will of course deny the interview invite but I find it hard to believe they would be done.

It says right now 137 interview completed, 879 requested. And that’s what I’m wondering honestly, how many more left will they request?

Last year during the interview they said they would be interviewing 1000-1200

They may not have sent those invites out, but plan to interview those people. They could be staggering releases to allow people time to set up interviews.
Do schools actually do that?

Not sure, it's possible though. Based on movement here, it doesn't look like 400 interviews went out recently, just a guess based off a limited subset though.

I was just about to post this lol. We get like 10-20 people here posting something whenever there’s an update. The fact thar supposedly over 450 were sent out and not a single person posted something here is weird.

It says on their FAQs that they don't participate in rolling admissions and interview slots don't fill up before the deadline.
