Just want add for anyone checking for prompts that there is a 3rd optional covid secondary question not yet mentioned on here:

What number did you call? And did you just ask to check the status of your app?
I called (716) 829-3466. I left a message because they must have been at lunch when I called. I gave them my name and AMCAS ID and asked to confirm that my application was indeed complete. They didn't call back but literally two minutes after I called I got an email 🙂

No I believe it’s only for those who do not have an MCAT score
Are regular interviews canceled this cycle and only the VITA or is the VITA only if pandemic does not permit an in person interview at that time of the year?

Of the SUNY's I believe only Upstate and Downstate opted into VITA. Schools will still continue to hold actual interviews, most likely online, though will use VITA as additional screening if they opt in.

I think you could certainly mention any way in which your activities, work or classes were impacted. I think I will also go that way, though plan to keep it brief as luckily myself and those close to me are healthy and well.
I'm OOS and haven't even gotten confirmation that they received my application -should I be worried?

I don’t think it’s too big a deal. They don’t get too many applications compared to other schools and they haven’t started sending interviews yet either

If it’s a school you want to go to and you feel you’re a good fit for it
then being complete a week or two later than other people shouldn’t matter

I have a ton of clinical research experience, but none of it is lab work. Does this mean I should answer no to the "As an undergraduate, have you ever worked in, or are currently working in a research laboratory?" question?

I submitted my secondary as soon as I received it. I think that helped. 7/20 is early too! you will get your II soon!!
