Yep. It was a mistake (using a not up-to-date email list). They just sent an apology.

Any ideas what the last interview date will be this year?

Would I be right to assume the period for calling is over?

Alternate list just now... does anyone know anything about the statistics how many people on the list/ get off of it?
Wanting to know the same information! MSAR doesn't have any numbers, it just says Varied and Not Provided for number of waitlists and and number of offers off the waitlist, respectively. About to go deep dive previous years forums!

Edit: We will get separated into Top/middle/lower 1/3 tier of the alternate list in April. Then from May to July, acceptance offers may be extended. 2 years ago, lots of top tier alternate people received acceptances. Last year, it didn't seem like very many were extended. Not sure what the exact statistics look like, but all we can do now is wait till April and hope for that Top Tier alternate list email. *sigh
If anyone else is really bummed about this news, DM me and we can sulk together and then support each other! 😀

Q for admitted students- is putting down a branch preference binding at this point? The checklist in my portal says I have to fill that part out by 2/11, but I'm still not sure about what I want.

They mentioned during my interview day that it is not binding, there are only so many spots for the branches after all

For those accepted, how do we gain access to the financial aid portal? I'm wondering if my deposit needs to be received and updated in the system before I get access info or if I missed something somewhere

Financial aid offers will only be made early-mid April. As long as you submitted your FAFSA, there's nothing else to do (that I'm aware of) 🙂

There are scholarship applications that can be filled out through a website they have set up, Lamar Cherry sent the link out a while back, but you can probably email him if you don’t have access to it

For those of you accepted and out of state with other offers: are you struggling making this decision? I want to go to CU but the OOS price tag is quite high. Are you looking into additional scholarships or have you asked CU about potential scholarships?

Do they not do pre-II rejections until the end?
from my limited knowledge, it appears form last years thread they sent out a lot of pre II rejections the day of of after the last interview date.

does anybody know when the last interview date is?
I know there are/were 2 interview dates in February (02/05 and 02/19), and my guess is that there will probably be 1 interview date in March (likely 03/05).

It's possible that they could do 2 interview dates in March (which would put their last interview date at 03/19), but Dr. Soohoo said multiple times in the interview date that they are interviewing just about 700-ish applicants this year, so 02/19 puts them at about 660 applicants interviewed. 03/05 would put them at ~720.

is there more II to go out? how long is their interview season?
There should be more II to go out. Dean SooHoo said they were "more than halfway" to the 2/5 interviewers.

According to their tracker (updated 20 JAN) they have interviewed 486 applicants. Even if they have interviewed ~550 now, I think they interviewed over 700 last year.

So MSAR shows for 2019 for IS applicants there were 760 verified applicants of which 156 were interviewed, and 86 matriculated. Do we thing these statistics will be similar for this year? Also what number of IS applicants were offered and acceptance but chose another school? If every IS applicant who received an acceptance chose CU it would be a 55% post II acceptance rate. Just wondering what you guys postulate the percentage to really be.

Sorry if this is super neurotic lol. Just having a slow night at the ED 😛

You're not alone, I was doing the same thing while waiting for my decision 😂 According to the below link, 671 apps IS, 153 IS II, 101 IS A, so 66% A post-II 😊 I think 60ish to low 70ish percent is a good estimate for IS.

Oh wow thanks for the awesome spreadsheet! Do you know where this data comes from??

It's in the stickied post here on SDN, so it might come from the outcome surveys they have for applicants (also in the sticky thread)? I'm not 100% sure, but that's my best guess!

EDIT: did a quick search and found here that it's actually from 2020 USNWR data!

If our tuition doesn't reduce to IS rates if we become CO residents, is there any reason to become one after matriculations?

Just got an II. OOS URM Complete 11/23

II!!!!! IS, complete mid July. I've been waiting to hear from this school for a longggg time.
Congrats guys!! I'm interviewing on this coming 19th and that was the only date available for me. Will I be meeting you guys then or were you able to schedule for another date?
