Can anyone tell me if decisions are made throughout the day or just at once? I’m not sure whether to keep checking or just save it for next week?
 
I wonder what my chances are of getting an acceptance at this point and having to scramble to somehow take stats and physiology lol

Hmm... that’s weird. It changed Thursday? I guess keep waiting!!! Hopefully it comes for you today. I’ve def heard back from schools earlier in the day compared to others who found out later that same day. Hopefully the same thing happens for you!
 
What's the best way to send thank you messages? My interviewers didn't provide their emails and I ran out of time to ask at the end.

I was told to send mine to the admissions office using the general email and they forward it.
 
did anyone hear back and interviewed week of 11/5-11/6? i'm anxious as people are receiving decisions/news after having done it 10/30.
 
For those that have already interviewed, were you able to know the names of your faculty and/or student interviewers beforehand?

No they'll usually tell you right before you get into the interview

That being said IMHO it's not really that important to know who your interviewer is, being prepared for the interview I think is more important

Appreciate the response, thanks! This is my first interview with low stat so I wanna make sure I don't leave much to chance, but you're right its more important to be prepared for the interview generally

So I guess next week for an decision. Still weird that my portal changed early...I want to email admissions but then I don’t think it’s a great idea so I’ll just wait and see fingers crossed! 😀 congrats to everyone with As!
 
For those who have got accepted, did anyone choose the Phoenix campus? I chose that campus and I am extremely excited to go. I was curious if someone could give me insight into why they may have chosen one campus over the other. Thanks!

Also chose Phoenix... the truthful answer is that it came down just to choosing the city of Phoenix over the city of Omaha.

I chose Phoenix too! Im from California so wanted to be closer to home and have warmer weather.

Got an A and chose Phoenix. I am from there but in my opinion, much more to do and see in Phoenix than Omaha. It has great food, event spaces and the weather besides the summer is great. The hospital system is also amazing.

I was wondering if you can elaborate a little more about your decision to apply there other than weather and amenities 🙂 ? since the phoenix campus is new I know very little about it
 
I chose Omaha just because it has been established for a longer period. Otherwise, I would have chosen the Phoenix campus. However, Creighton has been sending medical students to Phoenix for some time now, so I am not sure if that is even a valid excuse to use anymore because they have a couple clinical and healthcare settings to practice in. Phoenix area is also better for city life and depending if you like hot weather! I feel like this would be a good question for a medical student that went to Phoenix for their first two years!
 
The doc that interviewed me was from Phoenix. I asked about public health opportunities and he talked about an established free clinic along with community reach out programs

got an email today, but my portal doesnt look updated. also couldnt figure out how to pay the deposit (i was given the NETID stuff). kinda wondering if i have to wait for the portal and stuff to be updated or if it was a mistake lol

mhmm, well you may have to wait until your portal changes. It may be worth emailing the school if it doesn't change by Friday. You have 2 weeks from your acceptance email to submit a deposit. I have heard of mistakes but only with someone else's name. If the email says "Dear [your name]", then I don't think it should be a mistake but better to double check!! Congrats 🙂

EDIT: I believe you have to activate your NETID account then go to submit student deposit or something along the lines of that. Feel free to pm me. I just submitted mine today.

Does anyone know if they plan on sending II's through the rest of 2020/when the last round of II's will go out here?
 
to those who were accepted earlier, did ya'll get anything in the mail? like a physical letter of acceptance?
