You should double check your spam or you can try sending an email. I didn’t receive my secondary until January and it was hidden in my spam box. If I wasn’t checking my spam everyday I would have missed it. Earlier in the thread someone also mentioned that they’re still sending out secondaries. Just keep an eye out for it!

Thanks for the insight! Really appreciate it.

I still haven’t received a secondary yet! Does that mean a R? My stats are higher than an average applicant that gets accepted to this school...maybe it is me not being “black” ...who knows! My stats are cgpa: 3.50, science gpa: 3.54 and MCAT: 505 (121 in Cars)! I am wondering if no secondary at this point means a straight R?

Having stats higher than the average doesn't guarantee a secondary or an acceptance. There are people who have applied with scores 510+ who still didn't receive one because Meharry looks for specific qualities in an applicant, it really is a holistic process. I would say nothing is an R except an R, this process is random and unpredictable so don't give up hope just yet. In the meantime maybe send an update/letter of interest if you have not already.

First off congratulations!!! How did you receive it? Via email or portal?

Thank you!! The decision letter was in the portal but I actually got an email notification that the decision had been uploaded. I was pretty surprised because it seems like most people didn’t receive an email, so I would keep checking the portal just in case!

[Anaz96]

Is anyone having trouble accessing the portal? I recall one of the emails Meharry sent out after I submitted my secondary told me to continue checking the checklist located on portal, but I'm only seeing a link for the homepage (which is broken).

I wish there were more pictures of the housing options on the website. All you can see are the Moreno floor plans :/

Towers are decent. 1 and 2 bedrooms. Bathroom. Kitchen. Lot cheaper and convenient than what you'd find in nashville

has anyone sent a letter of interest here yet and was it well received? I think they say they don't take them but don't know what else to do at this point tbh

[9blade]

I interviewed back in November and still haven't heard anything from them. I have many friends who go here and they love the school. It's like a happy family.

I haven’t heard anything either and I interviewed back in December. Definitely hoping for something soon because I too have friends that love this school, and they speak highly of the family environment.

[future_doc_coming]

Has anyone tried calling the school to ask them about the status of their application?

I was thinking I might as well. It can’t hurt. I’m desperate for some communication haha.

I support you fully for reaching out if you can find an email or phone number that will answer! Because we definitely need some type of update lol

II just now. Scheduled for this Friday (was asked to provide availability so idk what other dates are available). Complete 9/27. No updates or letters sent since submitting secondary. Also interviewed here in the past and was WL’d.

Just some info to help others out and let you know that they are still interviewing and reviewing apps. 🙂

Right when I posted I realized you literally said October and didn't even notice. It's been the end of September and I'm still hopefully waiting to hear back something :/. I am glad it seems they are having some sort of movement though.
