Congrats to all those who have been accepted. The deposit does not mean that you are committing to attend MSU CHM, correct? Also who fills out the Dean's Certification form? Do we just print it and mail it to our universities deans office?

Congrats to you as well! The deposit is just to hold your place; we print the certification form, fill out our info at the top, and mail it to our respective dean's offices.

Has anyone else received a pre-Ii R yet? Just curious...... I have been forwarded for prelim since like august 28....... and no response. 🙁
tons of people in this thread have posted pre-II R. I think MSU CHM has been the most active about giving out pre-II R than any other school I've applied to -- so I think it's a good sign if you haven't received one!

I didn't know about the 'Mandatory Pre-Interview Day Information Session' and its during an interview I have for another program....

I emailed the office already but did anyone else have an experience like this? Do you know if they'll be willing to work with me?

Does anyone know if they send out emails for rejections? Or is it just uploaded to the portal?

Thanks in advance!

Honestly, just give me the pre-II R! Been complete since mid-August. They clearly aren't interested so just end my stress!

Hi guys!

I interviewed on 11/11...I think my student interview went great! I think the faculty interview went good as well but it felt a little more formal. And of course, I always think of things I should have added to the MMI questions later...at the end our convo was more natural and I got a good vibe. Just so nervous because I want an acceptance here so bad! Do you think I will hear by the 11/24 decision deadline or the 12/16 deadline?

that’s how I feel too. I interviewed 10/22 and didn’t hear back this past week so it’s possible you may not hear until 12/16 ... but who knows

I don't think not hearing back already is a bad sign! I interviewed 10/5, and didn't hear back until 11/10; the way their decision dates are staggered seems to leave most people waiting two decision dates before their app/interview is assessed. Obviously the wait sucks, but it's not a commentary on you as an applicant.

Congrats on interviewing! I have mine coming up and was wondering is the student interview behavioral (traditional) or does it also have MMI?
