Submitted secondary on July, but have not heard back yet, anyone in the same boat?
Daughter received Pre -ii R this morning.Lm 76 OOS. GLTA.Pre - II R

4.0 / 525 / Decent EC's OOS no ties to area
Did they give you any sense for what they see as the right "fit"?Don't give up hope! I interviewed there with worse stats than you (also URM). I have strong ECs but it's more than stats. At the interview they really emphasized mission & fit!
Post-interview applicant here, so that's my disclaimer (not a current student or anything). During my interview day it seemed like there were numerous ways you can fit into the Pritzker community (seemed very welcoming). However, I would say one common theme was a commitment to medicine for the underserved, especially in the South Side of Chicago. If that type of experience is what you want in med school and beyond, I would wager to say Pritzker would likely be a good fit.Did they give you any sense for what they see as the right "fit"?

I feel you. hope is there though. we have months potentially... I know it isn't the best situation but there is a chance, and that is what matters!Complete August 20th no R and no II yet 🙁 this was my top choice so I’m super bummed
Such a kind comment! Thank you for your words I really needed to hear that 🙂I feel you. hope is there though. we have months potentially... I know it isn't the best situation but there is a chance, and that is what matters!
Just gonna keep repeating bc I think it is SO important. My LM is around there & I got an interview invitation. I haven’t heard back post-interview yet but I’d like to believe they wouldn’t interview me if I didn’t have a shot. It’s so much more than stats!!Bro... What business did I have applying here with a ~65 LM...![]()
Seems to me as if they are still working through July so I wouldnt be worried yet. Lowkey reminds me of some of the other chronological waves we have been seeing at some other schools but at a much slower paceComplete August 20th no R and no II yet 🙁 this was my top choice so I’m super bummed
Complete August 20th no R and no II yet 🙁 this was my top choice so I’m super bummed
Complete in July and same lolComplete 8/16 and same here!
They are rolling. Their website said they'll start with a few in November, but most will be in February and March.is Uchicago rolling acceptance? or is it all at once in the spring?
Woke up to an II this morning (10/28)!!!!! Under review 8/19. Had to do a double-take and make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me haha.
OOS, URM, LM 65
Wow congrats!! You're giving me so much hope right now! We have practically the same stats/demographics (URM, OOS, LM 66, complete 8/22)
Honestly, this cycle for Chicago is so overwhelming since there are so many rejections and interview invites happening at the same time 🙁 Goodluck everyone!
You're giving me hope too!! I'm URM/OOS too. Completed 8/11. Not sure if I should expect an R or II at any moment... they're full of surprises, haha.Yeah I remember when the flurry of II and rejections from UChicago were sent out. I basically expected this school to be an R. Best of luck to you 🙂
Jk they just sent me the R. Oh, well! I am now more excited about other schools 🙂You're giving me hope too!! I'm URM/OOS too. Completed 8/11. Not sure if I should expect an R or II at any moment... they're full of surprises, haha.
Presentation by the dean of admissions...1 faculty, 1 adcom, 1 student interview, and presentation about Pritzker's commitment to social justice and equity, and why you should not go there if you aren't passionate about serving populations like the one on the South Side...which I think is such a valid point. I see people complaining about the neighborhood so much. Like dude, go to Northwestern if you don't wanna be around those populations. For anyone who has interviewed, what was the interviews/interview day like?
