Any idea of how acceptances work? Do they historically give decisions in November to those that interviewed early in the cycle then do another batch in winter? Interviewed early October for those wondering btw

They said a select few will hear back in Nov (& I think Dec) but the majority of people hear back end of Feb/ early March. ”Select few” makes me think really outstanding applicants. So while I would love to hear back early I’m preparing myself to not hear till March

Woke up to an II this morning (10/28)!!!!! Under review 8/19. Had to do a double-take and make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me haha.

OOS, URM, LM 65
your status changed from "complete" to "under review" before you received II?

Used complete and under review interchangeably. Received email on 8/19 saying my app was complete.

Not really sure if/when there was a change in status as I kinda just submitted my secondary and didn't check on it.

Presentation by the dean of admissions...1 faculty, 1 adcom, 1 student interview, and presentation about Pritzker's commitment to social justice and equity, and why you should not go there if you aren't passionate about serving populations like the one on the South Side...which I think is such a valid point. I see people complaining about the neighborhood so much. Like dude, go to Northwestern if you don't wanna be around those populations.
This just reminds me of how much I appreciated their interview day!!

But you're telling me there's a chance?
Loljk, I like that idea, I will follow suit. No need to stress out.

Have they sent any As yet? I heard that they were supposed to begin releasing decisions in November.

So I realize nobody may have the answer to this question, but do y'all think that 10/29 interviews may have any chance of being in the Nov acceptance batch? Or since it was late October would we likely not be reviewed until the Feb/March batch? I am just unsure how they review apps & if I should keep very low expectations until the spring lol, especially since they started interviewing later this year bc of COVID

It seems like in general we should probably keep our expectations low til late winter/early spring bc they said the vast majority of acceptances will be then.

Does anyone know if Pritzker accepts thank you letters? and where should we send them?
