I don't know why I applied here. I knew coming in that they were one of the most stats-wh*rish of all the schools, expecting that R anytime now.

I'm going to say 50th and 75th percentile accepted applicants at Penn...so between a 521-523 (a 506 is DOA at Penn based on stats).

Interviewed here recently—a majority of applicants were dressed casual/business-casual. I remember a couple jackets but no ties. Wear what you feel comfortable in!

Thanks, but they (and most schools with their stats selectivity like Chicago and Washu) tend to be pickier on MCAT than GPA, and seems like you crushed it on the MCAT. I'm around their 10th percentile, and as an ORM that means my application is pretty much a donation.

Totally understand where you're coming from, I have friends with the opposite scenario (stellar GPA subpar MCAT) who have also gotten interviews there so I just wanted to say anything can happen 🙂 Best of luck!

I echo what @accioMD! said. Also, they're fairly conversational and generally shouldn't be high-stress! They were some of my favorites so far!

I would say it doesn’t since it’s optional but I have just as much knowledge about it as you do so don’t take my word for it

When I scheduled, all dates were for in December. My guess is that any earlier dates filled up, and any later dates are being reserved for future waves/for people who can't make any of the provided December dates.

I was complete on August 6th so they are clearly not reviewing in chronological order.

I'm sure you've heard this hundreds of times, but it's true -- my interviews were very conversational. Interviewers seemed interested in me as a person. Show the same interest in them, be prepared to talk at length about what drives you, etc. and you'll be fine 🙂

I didn't get my Zoom links until the early afternoon EST the day of my student event. If they don't sent them in the next few hours I'd reach out to make sure you get those.
