I was on the casual side of business casual. I don't *think* anybody is tracking who attends (but it never hurts to look minimally presentable)

Do we think they want a second one too?? I don't really have any updates since then, but I could write a paragraph or two about interest.

I actually don't think Penn is needy. That's a rumor that's been going around on here from previous years where they encouraged letters of interest maybe, but this year they did not overtly encourage letters of interest (at least at my interview day).

MSAR says like March 2nd or 3rd but Penn usually just goes with “By March 15th.” I applied last year and they released March 2nd tho

They sent an email saying:
“The Committee on Admissions has finalized decisions for the 2020 application cycle. Your status has been updated in the applicant portal: https://pennmed-admissions.med.upenn.edu. Thank you for your interest in the Perelman School of Medicine.”
And then you log into the portal. From there, you’re either accepted or waitlisted. I wouldn’t know what the acceptance looks like 🙁

It was from Dr. Brass (MSTP), but he said the "med school" will release decisions "later this week". If you didn't get the email, it is probably because you are MD. But the letter sounded like it applied to both MD and MSTP. It was sent to all MSTP students, so it wasn't meant to imply anything about the receiver's candidacy!

MSTP and MD come out at the same time. And Dr. Brass’s email saying “later this week” was probably meant to be taken literally, as in “sometime after Sunday”. I’m pretty confident its gonna be Tuesday or Wednesday

Last year it seems that MD acceptances got calls and then next day everyone got a notification on the portal. But every other year, so 2019 and prior it was just an email to check the portal.
