What do you mean by can't stay at the end? Listen im sure its not a big deal either way. But you have to remember that these interviews are setting you up for the rest of your life. I know we have a lot going on in our lives, but these are incredibly important moments. You can choose not to go, which I am sure will be totally fine. But if I were an applicant like you (I was a year ago) I would use every damn opportunity to make a good impression -- especially at a school where the interview pool is 300 and very small. Again, that's just me.

No, I totally get that and obviously would ideally like to be there the entire time. I work nights at a hospital and my shift starts about 30 minutes before the student panel is over. We're on mandatory overtime because of COVID, so it wasn't possible to get my shift covered. Basically I can attend it for the middle 45 minutes which is why I was asking the question.

Tbh I wouldn't worry about it. If you can come I think its great, but it really was super chill and got a little repetitive by the end. If you come late they will just put you into a break out room when you get there! I also left a little early for no reason other than I had asked all my questions and kept getting placed in a room with people I had already spoken to.

If it makes you feel better, I didn’t attend and still got the A. I doubt it has any bearing on admissions.

Yes, I can confirm this. An admissions staff member mentioned during the ~meet with current students Zoom~ tonight that October and November interviewees are being reviewed at the same time and both dates will hear during "the second week of December".

Did they happen to mention how many interview dates/what percent of interviews have already been given out?

Is it too late to submit a secondary even though you had to wait until your MCAT scores were released in October? I read that the classes average around 42 students - I'd imagine they already have their class by now?

They’ve already held 4 of their 6 interview days. Do with that info as you will!

Just wondering, did anyone else not get a post interview package in the mail? I was out of town when it would have come (and notably been having some mail stealing issues) but makes me think maybe my interview didn’t go super well? Do they send it to everyone?

I know it's pretty much pointless to speculate but what day do you think the most recent two interview dates will hear back? I thought maybe Wednesday but idk
 
pre-ii just now as well, complete mid-July.
sucks b/c i sent them an update letter yesterday lol. wonder if they even looked at it 😢

I believe youre right but I figure if I havent gotten one 5/6 times not much is gonna change when the next one rolls around. Sent in what I thought was a decent update letter but oh well.

Hey, someone has to be at that last interview date, right? Don't give up hope (unless you really think your application was ****). Lots of interviews still coming out all over the place.
 
Anyone wanna take one for the team and ask admissions if by "second week of December" they meant we'd hear this week (IMO the second week of December, but the 1st full week) or next week (technically the second full week)?

My gut tells me it'll end up being December 15th since they usually make announcements on Tuesday.
