Have all the interviews for the Jan9th slot gone out? When I Called them a couple days ago they said they hadnt started sending out stuff for that one.

Its just a question...If you don't want to answer it then just leave the post alone. Hopefully you're not going into psychiatry assuming people's emotions off of two posts. Thought Id impart some advice since you gave me some <333.
 
Does the student panel happen on interview day or is it separate?

My apologies. It was intended as lighthearted encouragement to relax and let the process unfold since it sounded from your previous posts that you'd lost hope of getting an II and were being unnecessarily hard on yourself. Carry on!
 
Did anyone... receive an email/portal update before receiving a phone call about their acceptance? I don't want to falsely get my hopes up and celebrate in case it was an error 😭

Did you get an email and it was also in your communications tab? Or was it directly on your portal somewhere?
 
So I got the call first. And then I checked my portal and the new tabs for registration and stuff showed up. And then two hours later, an email came.

Yes I got an email, it was in my communications tab, and it's directly on my portal. Just no phone call. I emailed them in case it was a mistake haha. Btw I interviewed 10/24 if those who are curious

The email says "accepted" ?
 
If we interviewed recently (11/21) and didn’t get the call today, does that mean we definitely were not accepted?

I checked the thread for the last acceptance day, and it looked like everyone who got accepted was called on the same day. The next day were the waitlists and R’s. Hoping that’s not the case this time but my guess is that it’ll be the same 🙁

Yes
Edit: actually after looking at last years thread it looks like it’s technically not a waitlist yet. It sounds like we’re more so in a larger pool of applicants that will get voted on again in April and then they’ll dole out more As, lots of Rs, and official waitlist spots.

Hey so I also applied last year, interviewed at VTC in November and was put on the active wait list. Unless they changed it from last year, the list does not move until April at the EARLIEST. It was a painful process lol, they said we would know by first week of april, but did not find out until the end of April that I was not selected in the april voting (but also not rejected, check last years thread to see they did reject some after that) but was moved to the actual waitlist where I stayed until Early June and was eventually rejected. Super fun process lol, but here we go trying again!!!
 
What are the chances of getting an interview at this point? I was complete at the end of July and am close to chalking this one up to an R
 
There are a total of six interview days and four have been completed. I think the last two are in Jan / Feb with II's for the January session having gone out already. I don't believe II's for the 6th and final interview day (early Feb ?) have gone out yet.

I spoke with the admissions like maybe 10 days ago regarding accepted students page. They said they are creating a Facebook page for us..and will email us once it's created. I presume they are still on break because I haven't heard anything...
 
anyone else's secondary portal closed to responses?!?! i was pre-screened late given my MCAT and the app is due today but i can no longer access it and submit my secondary?!?! i was able to edit a few hours ago. isn't the deadline 11:59am jan 1st?!??!?! idk what to do

Having the same issue. I don't know what's going on on their end. I hope they resolve. I just emailed them, hopefully they respond but I doubt it.

Did 11:59 am not already happen? Isn’t that the minute before noon?
 
Does anyone know if the traditional interview is open-file? Do they tell you one way or the other?
