Not concerning they are just preparing for acceptances, alternates, and rejections. Once they do that they will start communicating again I’m almost sure.

also just to clarify something, last year they did all the post-interview rejections and waitlist on one day in April. No one that interviewed got rejected prior to April 6th. I don't remember when pre-interview rejections were sent out, but if I remember correctly, it wasn't until all interview invitations had been sent out
Yeah but they did like a post II waitlist right? I heard they send an email every week just like pre II waitlist. So I think that’s what they are getting ready and why they haven’t communicated in a while.
They give you a "status update" email every time they do a round of acceptances saying that you're still being considered, but it doesn't mean anything since it's not a waitlist (bc the actual waitlist comes out early April) and everyone who interviewed will receive this update if they don't get an acceptance call.

so my guess is that they are doing a round of acceptances this Friday, and then Nov. 19th (since they said they are doing a round of acceptances that day). If you don't get an acceptance this Friday, you should get one of those update emails. I interviewed last year and got one of those emails about every 2 weeks (always on fridays) when they did acceptance calls until I was eventually rejected in April.

When did you interview? If it was pretty recent I definitely wouldn't worry about it. And honestly, I wouldn't worry about it in general. Mine just says file under review but of course, your file is also under review. By definition, everyone who is interviewed is under review unless they are already accepted.
I interviewed in October, so pretty recently, but the main source of my concern is that I could have sworn it said "under review" before and now it's missing. I guess I'm not too worried, but I just want to make sure it doesn't bump me out of their review each week by not having that designation in their system. I guess our portal could display information differently than what the admissions committee sees on their end though.
Sure that's fair. Just shoot an email to admissions. They are really nice and I'm sure they can calm your fears 🙂

I don’t think there were any acceptances today. I heard when they send out acceptances they send out an email to those who have interviewed already.
they do! I'm so surprised they didn't do the calls/emails today though since it has been awhile since the last round. Also one thing I just remembered about Nov. 19th is that that date was given to people who interviewed on Oct 28th/29th, and that group was mostly MD-PhD applicants, so the timeline could be different. I wonder if Admissions would ever do calls next week and the following week, or if back-to-back weeks doesn't happen... Anyway, I think I'm overthinking it. Whatever happens happens I guess. They might be doing things differently this year, but I think they only send out rejections after all interview invitations are given out (so maybe late January?).
