Did everyone that got accepted send update letters after the interview. Already sent one to them and am debating if I should send another one.

I sent one, they heavily encouraged this 🙂 any updates you may have I recommend sending one especially if a school accepts them! I sent updates on some of my core activities!

You may want to send an update through the portal, if you have anything to update since your application.

Hang in there! You had an amazing accomplishment just getting an interview and there is a TON of waitlist movement in April, you are still in the game, but yes the waiting stinks. You may want to send an update in a couple months before the April musical chairs begins.

I interviewed week of 1/9 and they said I'd either hear back today or next Monday. I know other ppl discussed the "thank you for secondary" vs "thank you for interview" earlier in the thread and idk if my portal is glitched since I swear I saw the "thank you for interview" message before it changed back.

Regardless, I submitted updates so fingers crossed!
 
Does anyone know when they historically send out financial aid packages?

Yes! They hold 3 during the cycle. The first one was on Nov 19th and I got an email the first week of January that said the next one is February 3rd. The email said there would be one more in April 🙂

You got an email saying Feb 3rd? I thought it was March 10th for the next date
 
Hey all how long did it take for you to be able to pay your deposit on the NEST? My account is active but I don't see where I can pay it's been 24hrs
 
Does anyone here have experience with the Monday advising sessions for waitlisted applicants? Was it helpful? Any advice or insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

when i was on the alternate last year, they told me where they saw deficits in my app and how to improve, and when was the best time to send in updates. didnt work out for me last year but i just got in yesterday so i guess it paid off!!

I’m so glad someone else felt this way haha - my feedback was a total of 2 min and essentially boiling down to stats (not something that I can rlly change after the interview lol)

I was told theres nothing I can do, that I have no red flags and my stats are good. But Im not exceptional so theyre waiting to hopefully get better applicants. Said I did everything right and theres a lot of movement in May.

Part of me was thinking well dang this was a waste of time if theres nothing I can do, but also it's much better than every other school as 0 other schools have given me feedback.

Plus the person was really nice and honest which I appreciated.
 
Does anyone know which date in April will Omaha campus have another accepted student day? It seems like my flights will be over 1k dollars if I decide to go for the March one.... 🙁

Also, has anyone recently received any scholarship email? Just wondering..

Agreed. Said my interview was great, but I don’t stand out. This made me so upset at first, but reading these comments I realized that all of us are probably amazing applicants on the waitlist, and it is hard to stand out in this cycle. Please do not beat yourselves up too much.

Those that interviewed already, what was your experience like? Asking for a neurotic friend...
 
Anyone here interviewed for the Arrupe scholars program? I have an interview for it tomorrow (so excited) but just trying to know what to expect (as all neurotic pre-meds do lol)

i don't know how much a letter of intent will move the needle for an acceptance; however, they did say they look very favorably upon updates. If you have any form of update I would send that in addition to an LOI

Ok! I do have two pretty significant updates so I think I will at least include those. Does anyone have insight on the usual turn around time for decisions?

Looking at the previous threads, they interview Sept-Mar. Mid Feb is around when last round of II sent for interview dates in Mar. Then WL movement starts in Mar/Apr.

Creighton likes updates and encourages them when they're significant/if you're on the WL.

Yes, they already made the class GroupMe and Facebook groups for both campuses. You can probably contact admissions if they haven't sent you invites yet.
 
Got an invite to admitted students day but no official email of acceptance? I know people earlier in the thread had similar things happen but it's a full 3 days away from monday lol

Hang in there, application feedback is something Creighton provides that few other schools invest the time in doing. The feedback regarding stats is valuable in the sense that it is not entirely uncommon for an applicant to take the MCAT a second time, in particular if they may be facing a second cycle. At average MCAT of 511 and GPA of 3.8 there is a relative frame of reference. Good luck and keep positive.

I got the admitted students invite email at 5am lol and I can view in my portal as well. My "thank you for submitting secondary" went away yesterday mid-day (it still didn't update back to "thank you for interviewing") but still nothing except the document upload button/blurb and my LORs

Anyone else get an admitted students day email first? Im getting nervous that that means Ill be waitlisted Monday.
 
has anyone changed their campus preference and would it have any bearing on the app?
