Only ~3 people posted that they got off the waitlist after June 8th last year and the year before, so we probably won’t see much

I got the acceptance call off of waitlist today. Pretty much luck. There were no stats of mine that stood out, no unique form of representation, or exceptional update letter. I pretty much did what everyone else did then left it up to chance. I'll promise to never be one of those two-faced med students who hate on SDN after getting in even though they lurked on it for months

For anyone else still checking back, I was accepted off the waitlist via email yesterday. I’m declining it so it can go to someone else, due to receiving a scholarship somewhere else. Just remember it can still happen! Best of luck to everyone.

Were you IS, because im OOS and I think it might be harder for me to get off the waitlist this time? It seems like they are favoring Georgia Residents more to get of the WL.
