9/23 here, nothing as of yet. You're not alone.Any 9/23 interviewers hear anything?
Yeah I noticed that wording in my email too. Intriguing to say the least. Let me know if you get any clarification on that pleaseDelayed decision email received 11/17. Manifesting into the universe that I am accepted eventually. Interestingly, they chose to use the language "until a decision of accepted or waitlisted has been made," as it does not mention being declined. I assume one can still be declined after a delayed decision, but if anyone contacted admissions and asked for clarity I'd love your input.
9/23 interviewer here and happy for my 9/20 and earlier ppl hearing their results but so upset that we didn’t get thrown into the mix! Now idk if we have to wait for the next months batch or if they’ll let us know earlier, this waiting game is killing me!
Congrats! When were you complete?II today! Couldn’t be happier. Scheduled for next Wednesday, which was the only available November date. I didn’t even see what dates were available in December, was too excited to just get scheduled!
Thanks! Just edited my comment - complete 8/29.Congrats! When were you complete?
Congrats!! Did you see what availability there was for December?II received yesterday. Complete 8/8
Interviewed 8/23 and DD on 10/20. Nothing.Did everyone that was previously delayed decision in October hear back?
So if we are OOS and haven't received an II yet, do that mean we are a non starter?During my session (mid-September), they said OOS would hear back mid-November and IS in December!
The last OOS II from last year happened in February. So if we are OOS and haven't received an II yet, do that mean we are a non starter?
No I think there's time to receive an II, but they meant it for post-II decisions! So if we are OOS and haven't received an II yet, do that mean we are a non starter?
Should be early March!Anybody know when Vermont's last interview day is?
Does anyone know when 9/23 interviewers should expect to hear back?
Don't sweat it! I LOVED my interview here - everyone was so wholesome and down to earth, it was a very positive, friendly vibe. It goes by quickly and you definitely feel engaged/supported the whole time 🙂Can anyone who interviewed recently talk about the interview day? Mine is coming up and I’m starting to feel nervous. This is my first one
congrats! do you mind sharing your stats?II received today! OOS Complete 07/30
3.76 cGPA, 3.67 sGPA, 513 MCAT!congrats! do you mind sharing your stats?
I thought all those who interviewed from in-state find out on the same day?I feel like OOS people will hear back at the same time IS do? At least according to past threads!
Yup! Email to [email protected]does larner take update letters?
sorry i meant to say pre-II updatesYup! Email to [email protected]
Yup that's what I meant too lol. Sent one like 2 months ago, they responded saying it's been added to my file, and have heard nothing back since thensorry i meant to say pre-II updates
If this is the case then I don't know if I can trust their website because it says "Additional letters of recommendation or updates are not necessary as the Admissions Committee only reviews your application materials submitted at the time of completion."Yup that's what I meant too lol. Sent one like 2 months ago, they responded saying it's been added to my file, and have heard nothing back since then
I'm not sure if it's only on one day since I'm OOS but last years' threads showed that some OOS people who interviewed in Oct-Nov heard back the same day IS heard backI thought all those who interviewed from in-state find out on the same day?
No there have already been ppl who have interviewed 9/20 and before who are OOS and have gotten their acceptances. I interviewed 9/23 as an OOS and am patiently waiting still. What truly baffles me tho is how some schools, like Rush, will let you know decisions in 16 days exactly after you interview and other schools, like Vermont, wait 3 months and you're still not even sure if you'll hear back. Why is there such a large discrepancy between schools releasing decisions?I thought all those who interviewed from in-state find out on the same day?
I was thinking the exact same thing! I sent out updates to schools that accepted them but didn't send one here since their website says they don't review updates.... Would love to get some confirmation on thisIf this is the case then I don't know if I can trust their website because it says "Additional letters of recommendation or updates are not necessary as the Admissions Committee only reviews your application materials submitted at the time of completion."

Congratulations. I am hoping for an OOS II soon. Complete on 8/22. 508 MCAT, 3.64 sGPA, 3.78 cGPA with a publication, and 2 years in research lab.3.76 cGPA, 3.67 sGPA, 513 MCAT!
I'm not sure about this. I emailed an update letter on 10/06 and admissions emailed back saying "Thank you for the application update. We have added this letter to your application file." I applied in August and have not yet received any II or rejection. This isn't the first medical school I've seen where the website info is just not up to date, and it says they do not accept updates, but then when you email them to inquire they actually do. Have also seen some discrepancies between MSAR and website stats and numbers for multiple schools. Just suggesting that websites may not be up to date. They do not accept updates, however if waitlisted they do afaik accept statements of continued interest.
I would agree! According to a recently published interview with the Associate Dean of Admissions, she is making the push to accept updates; however while the site is not open to update submission right now, she will try to make sure update letters are reviewed if they are emailed in.I'm not sure about this.
