Congrats! When did u submit secondaryA!
OOS, Interview on 9/8.
7/7Congrats! When did u submit secondary
when did you submit secondary?Accepted! Interviewed 8/30. Sad there wasn't a phone call 🙁
I wonder what made them decide to not rank the WL. It gives us all some reassurance.Alternate listed...as it seems everyone who was not accepted has been. Are we heading for a 300 person unranked waitlist? Sounds kinda rough
It seems maybe related that at least going by these boards they didn't reject anyone; obviously I don't know enough to conclude anything but I wonder if they just haven't done much of any sorting of people they didn't accept, especially since they didn't seem sure that they would be able to get decisions out as early as they haveI wonder what made them decide to not rank the WL. I agree, especially since they gave decisions to those who interviewed late September — a lot of decisions made quickly! I interviewed 9/27 and did not expect a response so soon.It seems maybe related that at least going by these boards they didn't reject anyone; obviously I don't know enough to conclude anything but I wonder if they just haven't done much of any sorting of people they didn't accept, especially since they didn't seem sure that they would be able to get decisions out as early as they have
+1 OOS, interviewed 9/27. was literally anyone rejected or were we all put on the alt list?Alternate list, IS, interviewed late September.
sadly think everyone’s on the alt list+1 OOS, interviewed 9/27. was literally anyone rejected or were we all put on the alt list?
It could also mean they have not filled their class and they want to interview more people before they decide who gets some of the remaining spots. Could be youSo alt list means we’re only reconsidered if someone withdraws their acceptance?
where is the admissions decision tab? Is it on the medonestop page?Congrats to all those accepted today! Is anyone else unable to access the hyperlinked portion of the admissions decision on the status page? It seems to be a google doc but I don't think they shared it. May just be me though.
I think if you haven’t received an email you won’t have that on your page yet. I’m in the same boat as you, I think we will likely just hear back next round of decisionswhere is the admissions decision tab? Is it on the medonestop page?
Do you mean earlier apps?Forgot to post here but since it looks like they’re going back to later applicants, complete 7/25 OS II 10/03 if that data helps anyone 🙂
Do you mean earlier apps?
All good, I was just gonna cry if that was considered late 😂yes 🫣 my bad
+1OOS II!! So excited!!
Yeah I submitted in September as welllmao i submitted on labor day and they havent even touched august from sdn data atleast sheesh
Hi all, I was fortunate to get an OOS II here but my interview was scheduled in-person. Unfortunately I do not have the finances for a plane flight nor the time to fly out of state for days due to work. Has anyone this cycle successfully rescheduled to virtual from in-person, and if so how? Hesitant to click the reschedule button on the portal until I know what I’m doing lol
Wysdoc, while your advice/opinion is no doubt valid, people need their jobs to eat and pay their rent. I think suggesting people risk their source of income for an interview that may or may not lead to an acceptance sounds tone-deaf to me. I would think carefully if I would want to go to a medical school that cannot accommodate the wish for a virtual interview, for equity reasons alone.Rather than clicking the reschedule button email or call to ask for your interview to be changed to virtual format. If there are no virtual spots available you will have to remember what your ultimate goal is, getting into med school, not keeping your current job.
I do understand this financial crunch but if they say no OP may have to make a tough decision. I was a very poor premed too and had no intent to offend. Fortunately most schools are having virtual interviews still so I hope you can make it work, @peakedteaseWysdoc, while your advice/opinion is no doubt valid, people need their jobs to eat and pay their rent. Good luck peakedtease, I hope the school will be able to change your interview format.
I rescheduled my interview yesterday and they already approved it! Once you click the reschedule button it will pull up a checklist of how to request a reschedule, and it is not a permanent commitment to rescheduling your interview. The checklist will include an email you need to contact and a list of future in person and virtual interview dates they have available. You then email your top three preferred dates and they will reschedule you (most likely to your first choice like mine did).Hi all, I was fortunate to get an OOS II here but my interview was scheduled in-person. Wasn’t planning to but I’m curious about why you say this.Don’t mention the medical expenses part when you talk to them.
