Post II deferral. Interviewed 11/15. Does anyone know what Drexel’s waitlist movement looks like?

Just wanted to chime in with my own experience as reassurance - I had That Interviewer (confirmed by a Drexel student) and I was so scared. It wasn’t bad at all. I’m glad I was ready for it, but his questions were straightforward and helped me express where I shone and why I wanted to go to specifically Drexel. He took time to answer my questions (though this is where it got a bit stress-test-y as I was basically questioned on my questions, but it was fine as I stood my ground respectfully) and interacted with my responses throughout. No, he wasn’t bursting with enthusiasm for the school or cheerfully responding with anecdotes to my answers, but he was fair and efficient. So if you’ve got him, prep somewhat for a stress test, but don’t worry too much!

I’m a current applicant. Also had this interviewer. I totally thought he was fine lol. I made him smile twice and he def tested me about a particular topic but I held my ground and it ended up being a good conversation

wait so are later interviews for drexel typically for spots for the WL? How are the chances of acceptance when you interview in Jan?

Guys, I was speculating… I’m hoping the interview is still for a true Acceptance.

but i am curious though, are later interviews still weighed the same? is it harder or easier to get in considering there are fewer spots but also more people who have rejected the school hmmm

Someone on the premed subreddit a few months ago said that Drexel accepts about 59% of interviewees. I don’t think timing changes chances of success significantly. The only difference I think with a February or March interview is that you’re more likely to be waitlisted and won’t hear a final decision until later but I don’t think that changes chances of acceptance.

in the interview they said decisions are sent 7-10 weeks from the interview day, has this been the case so far?

Can someone clarify the update policy? On their website it says: "Applicants may send a total of three updates through our application system. You may upload one of each of the following items: transcripts, resume/CV and an update letter."

but on the portal, I see
You may upload the following: One of each - Resume/CV, Transcript; Four of each - Update Letter

Does this mean that I can only submit one update?

They released decisions for 11/15 on Monday... folks from 11/16 hoping to hear today??

Anybody know about housing near the med school? What are the options and pricing and general areas nearby?
