How do these holds at Drexel usually work? Do a lot of people on the holding list eventually get offered interviews? Should I send them a LOI and if so, when? I don't have many updates to my application though...

How did they notify you of the hold? Curious since I was complete 10/12 (submitted 9/28) and I haven't heard a peep from them

Just via my email. I see someone on the thread received a hold last Thursday and they were complete 9/9 if thats any help. They don't seem to be going in order but who knows :/

The order in which they are reviewing apps is one of the strangest I have seen on SDN. There’s like no pattern. I have been complete since mid August and nothing.

LOL Im not gonna quote everyone else but firstly thank you both for the info! It’s nice to hear that everyone else is also very confused about hearing back from them and the order is kinda a mixed bag. Hopefully for all of us hear something soon and for those with holds I’m crossing fingers for a II for y’all!!

This was without a doubt my least favorite interview yet. The faculty member that interviewed me really either did not want to be there or did not want me to be there. Wouldn't listen to my answers, no conversation, they would cut me off, and even said some questionable stuff about my background (microaggressions). And when I asked questions towards the end, they really acted as if my questions were the dumbest thing they'd ever heard. I was curious if this was unique to me but someone had already mentioned my interviewer by name on Reddit. So I guess I just got unlucky. Really turned me off the school as a whole though. As for the student interview, the student interviewer was lovely but that's just not how group interviews should be done. Extremely cringe inducing. Anyway, I'll be withdrawing my application. Best of luck to everyone else.

This exact same thing happened to me for my Drexel interview in October. He was trying to tell me how it's illogical/makes no sense that I have experienced homophobia because I grew up near a large city. I didn't leave a complaint because I don't want to do anything which could risk my application.

Interview felt one sided and as if interviewers and students didn't like their own school.
