what’s the reality of being deferred here im tryna find out if I shouldn’t get my hopes up

i think drexel waitlists around 300 and accepts 60 off the waitlist

Deferral isn't the same thing as a waitlist, they defer your result to a future ADCOM meeting

The only training sites in Philly or surrounding Philly are for a few sites for rotating students or people at Crozer hospital (40 students, half hour drive out of the city) per year. Everywhere else is a year long site in other areas of PA, DE, NC, and CA and you go through the lottery for placement. You're only guaranteed to stay in one place all four years if you are a Reading student.
