No not necessarily, this process has no rhyme or reason sometimes so don't be discouraged. It's never over til it's over.

Not sure about post-II, but I’m pretty sure they don’t accept pre-II… The only pre-II update they do is the “updates” section on the secondary

If you don’t submit, the outcome is you don’t get into UCSF. If you do submit, the outcome is that you either don’t get into UCSF or get into UCSF.
