I was supposed to interview today but got rescheduled till next month because they lost power, unlucky. Anyone else?
Sorry, that must be incredibly disappointing!

Doing the tours tomorrow (both Portland & Biddeford campuses). Anyone familiar with the area have suggestions for lunch, questions to ask, things to check out, etc?
I don't have any recommendations for questions or food, but I've always liked Elements in Biddeford for coffee. They also sell bagels and beer.

Highroller, Luke's lobster, terlingua, butcher burger, and duckfat are all solid for lunch! If you're in a pinch, I heard rapid rays in saco was good but haven't had it myself. There's also a place to walk by the water in Portland close to where trader Joe's and whole foods are. If you want dessert, gorgeous gelato in portland and Saco scoop are both great options. Also highly recommend getting something from holy donut for the road!
It's a bit colder now, but you could drive by where old orchard beach is, and you could also walk around downtown Portland and Old Port. Fore St and the area around there has a lot of places to eat and local shops!

Hi! Thank you so much for this great list! I will hang on to it for when I return. (I want to make Maine my permanent home.) I'd like to make another campus visit this late winter/early spring when the new building is completed; hopefully, I'll be able to stay a couple days and try out a few of your suggestions!

Congratulations to all the A’s!!!!! Anyone else still waiting to hear?? I interviewed 10/8 but no email yet, is that a bad sign????
I wouldn’t stress yet if I were you! In my limited experience, it seems like admissions decisions are sent out in specific categories. It could be sorted by interview group, residence status (NE vs non NE resident), things like that. Just speculation but that’s my two cents! I received an A from another program like two days after everyone else in my wave, at least according to SDN.

Wow! Congrats to all those accepted! (And yes, I’m a bit jealous! 😇)

Interview 11/7, Accepted this Friday 11/15!!! OOS A from northeast. I still can’t believe it! Good luck to all others!!
Congrats on the A! I interviewed on a date close to yours and haven't heard anything - should I be worried??

So happy for you! I'm hoping/wishing/praying for this notification every day. I absolutely love this program and the area.

Manifesting that you are next!! I was anticipating the email was another one of their monthly news letters and couldn’t believe my eyes when I read the subject! I was complete in August and it’s been a long 4 months waiting for this one

Thank you! Those news letters catch me all the time! LOL Can't wait to hear how it goes! Did you pick a date yet?

When does UNE usually finish sending out II? I submitted secondary back in September and haven’t heard back since

Any international students applied and heard back?

Yeah I’m international from South East Asian country. Applied in July. Was accepted a few weeks ago!

II today - New England Resident 🙂 complete 11/20 I believe

Anyone going to Future DO day this weekend? I'm excited to see everything in person before a deposit is due but I wonder if there will be more dates in the future.

II today!!! Complete mid November! Can anyone share their interview experience? Is it open file? Can they see grades? What are common questions asked??

I wasn't able to attend future DO day and I was wondering if anyone attended today and could share their experience and some of the things they learned? Would really appreciate it!!

+1 OOS II yesterday! (In New England)
Stats are 511 MCAT, 3.3 cGPA (4.0 over the last 100 credits in 4 years during post bacc and AAS) and about 4k hours of clinical.

Interesting that they just assigned a time to interview instead of letting you choose ... I can make it but yeesh what if you can't!

Very excited about this school would love any advice from current or admitted students. Good Luck everyone!
I guess they're hoping the students will be interested.
How do you prepare for your classes? I usually prefer self-study. I start by reviewing the course syllabus to get a clear idea of the main topics. Sometimes I turn to online resources with lectures, like learnerstv.org/medical, or notes on medicine and biology. It really helps to dive deeper into subjects like anatomy or physiology.
