No I did not get a complete email, but my status was complete in the portal after I submitted on 7/31.

Submitted 7/31, never had a Hold status, haven't received an email yet, just checked the portal

Same! No official email confirmation, but portal states, "Your file has been reviewed and you will receive a formal invitation by email about how to schedule a virtual interview. Until the time the formal invitation is sent, there is nothing additional you must do."

I am prepared for the R but only time will tell we don’t know how it goes behind the scenes. Prepare for the worst but hope for the best. We did our part.

When I submitted my secondary I logged back in and it said I was complete, so I'm assuming its automatic as long as you have submitted all necessary materials. Therefore in my situation submit date = complete date.

Yeah, in my case, my letters came in late, so I guess the best I could come up with is a range of dates.

I submitted 7/29 and was on hold as of 8/14 or so? I never got an email that I was on hold, I just logged on and saw that my status had changed. It seems that an email will come for either ii or R

I'm really starting to wonder what the point is of submitting my secondaries early when people who submitted several weeks after me are getting responses... Do any schools actually go in order lol

I don't think the 'apply early' thing is as helpful as everyone says it is, at least across the board. A school like Pitt - very important. But, a school like this looks like they really do a year-long cycle.

Yes, hopefully that's all it is, trying to stay optimistic but just for transparency for others I didn't go on hold until about a week before I ultimately got the R in January last cycle, so I'm not really sure how much any of this means

I didn’t get an email telling me I got put on hold, I just saw it in the portal one dayI wouldn’t worry too much about it though because it seems like the hold is arbitrary and that we shouldn’t read into it

Torturing ourselves with what holds mean or the complete date and when they will review/how they will do it is useless! If you've submitted your app, just have faith and take it easy. There is nothing else you can do and overanalyzing is just harmful.
