They really do, I was pleasantly surprised!

I was like might as well try because after my primaries and all other expenses, 140 usd is pretty hard for me right now with a part-time job.

I also think it’s a soft R and for now we just wait unless proved otherwise

I have read through prior years and the hold here is not considered a soft R. So we are still in the running. They did give out R's pre ii once a month starting late august last year. So we may know more very soon!

I was on hold for 6+ months and I’m finishing up my fourth year. Not that it doesn’t suck to be put on hold but it really is too early to tell one way or the other.

Doesn't mean anything yet, as people have mentioned in this thread, people from last year got Rs and IIs from holds and no-holds. So it means nothing at this point. Most likely no one's looked at your app yet haha

There’s no point in over-analyzing. We know that this school does not review applications in order, and that hold =/= rejection. I literally just think that hold means that they read it and didn’t give out an interview. If it doesn’t say something, that probably just means they didn’t read your application yet. No point in stressing over it.

I didn’t get an email, just the status in my portal. I eventually got put on hold so I was complete without getting an email saying so. The portal will update itself but if it says you’re complete, that’s it
