Orientation days are over for both campuses. Friday is for a chill day with Student Life and doing fun activities
That was my same concern but last time I talked to admissions they confirmed WL movement was up until the 25th lolI kind of doubt it because our first exam is on the 25th
Or at least into the first week of classesThat was my same concern but last time I talked to admissions they confirmed WL movement was up until the 25th lol
I'm going to register for a January date (my last test was 3/2024, so September would've just been setting myself up for failure). Going to re-apply next cycle and take 2 science courses through UNE's online pre-req program in an effort to raise my science GPA. I think the biggest obstacle has been coming to terms that my timeline isn't as linear as others, but once you do it's liberating! I used to tell people that beggars can't be choosers and that I'd be happy going to any school that accepted me, but my mindset has changed. I've been working towards this for the entirety of my young adult life so what's two more years, if it means having autonomy and options. Good luck, don't give up!Hey guys, if you’re signing up to retake the MCAT are you looking at September dates or January since it’s close?
Thank you for your positivity, I wish everyone in here the best 🫶I'm going to register for a January date (my last test was 3/2024, so September would've just been setting myself up for failure). I expect the rejection letter to go out sometime next week if they bother to send them. I would get started on the reapply ASAP, AACOMAS is actually nice in that you can reuse your old application. Obviously there are changes that we need to make, but its good we don't have to reupload everything,So can we assume we got ghosted and we can make plans to reapply right? Classes start Monday
Congratulations !!! 🎊🥳I'm going to RVU. I was accepted pending space but, with that, guaranteed a seat in c/o 2030 without having to reapply. I'm still uncertain whether I'm going this cycle (it starts this Monday) or next year, but not having the reapply is almost as appealing as their program (love it!).
I will say this, if the dynamic of this chat has been any indication, we would have made LMU's c/o 2029 pretty spectacular. If it's already great, we would have made it more so! I am sad for us but thank YOU for making this disappointment bearable. Thank you for appreciating my WL parody 🤣. Thank you for your compassion and humor. Thank you and best of luck to everyone!
Thank you! ❤️Okay
Congratulations !!! 🎊🥳
Youre welcome 🙏 😊Thank you! ❤️
I guess it’s still nothing since it is quiet and no one said anything yetI know this is such a small chance but does anyone know if anyone dropped the first day?
I earnestly wish for some Hail Mary to happen now too.ACOM and Meritus orientation is soon but I’m not sure if people will drop to attend another school
I would pack my bags and dip in 2 hours 😂I earnestly wish for some Hail Mary to happen now too.

Yeah ready for the chopping block now3 days left yall![]()
I guess it’s over until they said it is over in email I guess. Did you call the second after today or before today? It’s confusing in your post too.Guys please don’t quote me on this I just want to emotionally prepare everyone. I called the admissions office today and they said it’s over 🙁 however another time I called they said it will keep moving until the first week is over. I’m truly confused
I called about a week ago and they said we will continue to see movement through the first week of classes which I’m assuming is the 25th. Yesterday I called and they said they’re unsure if WL movement is still happening because the people in charge of the waitlist did not come in yet ( I called around 8:10 am). Today I called around 9 am and they said WL movement is over and the class is full. Sorry if I was confusing🙁I guess it’s over until they said it is over in email I guess. Just found this article https://www.nytimes.com/2025/07/13/...2372&user_id=c4682339216d215ab00cb9ad70e3f90a. I guess now it is a pat on the back and move on. I’m going to SGU in Grenada since I ain’t waiting for these confusing foals for another year.I called about a week ago and they said we will continue to see movement through the first week of classes which I’m assuming is the 25th. No way!! So it’s not closed!! I knew it wasn’t over until it’s overI sent an email to admissions yesterday and received the following information:
"Our seats are full, but we could still see some movement until July 25th."Also, they do not provide feedback on applications, but offered that their holistic review takes the following into consideration:
- Academics (avg sGPA is 3.5)
- Test scores (competitive MCAT score is 500)
- Volunteer experience
- Medical experience
- Leadership experience
- Extracurriculars
- LORs
- Personal statement
- Interview day
I know there’s a slim chance but I have a little hope for usNo way!! So it’s not closed!! I knew it wasn’t over until it’s over
I called this morning and was told the same. Hoping for the best for all of us 😭I sent an email to admissions yesterday and received the following information:

I dont know much about it but from what I've heard there are problems. Their criteria is also quite high in that you have to hit a 3.4+ gpa to get accepted. I would recommend RVU instead.Has anyone in this thread heard of the masters program with the conditional acceptance to DCOM? Theres very minimal information online and was looking to talk to somebody who’s been through it
Yeah I really want that seat 🤞I called this morning and was told the same. Hoping for the best for all of us 😭
