Dear everyone here, I had my interviews this week and just wanted to relay this tidbit of information in case your interviewers don’t: if you interview and love Mayo, please please please send them a letter of intent / interest. It’s extremely important to them.

Thank you. Did they say when (timing) and how they want them submitted?

When you guys say R does the email say rejection or hold? I just got a oos hold email and I'm assuming it's a soft R?
This is what my email said:

"Thank you for applying to our school and the time you have invested in this process. Although we were impressed with your background and experiences, we have decided to pursue other applicants at this time.

We wish you well in your future and much success in your medical career."

assuming that's an R but worded a bit ambiguously. I wished they had used more clear language.

wonder what it means if you didnt get anything today. perhaps another wave of R / hold will come next week?
