Will more interview dates open? I do not see any options available right now. The email says please RSVP in 2 days so not sure how to proceed

When did you get your email? If it was today, try again in the morning & see if they have added dates, also see if you can look in October or November on their calendar

Yes it was today around 2PM. I will try in the morning. There is nothing available in October or November right now. Thank you!

There is a single date available, October 29. Not sure if more will open up but that's what I currently see.

**EDIT: They now have 4 dates available, it looks like they are all of the dates for the Oct 21 orientation.

For those applying to the ENMED program, is it possible to receive interviews for both ENMED and regular MD? Since they state they consider applicants for both, would you interview for both programs or, if given a chance, just at ENMED and then be evaluated for both programs based on that singular interview?

The EnMed interview day includes interviews with both EnMed and A & M staff. If a person is turned down by EnMed after interviewing, they can still rank A&M for match day as I understand it.
To do this you should have checked both the A & M and EnMed boxes on your TMDSAS primary application.
EnMed itself is considered a dual degree or special program, and isn’t included in TMDSAS Match Day.
That being said, the release of acceptances roughly follows TMDSAS customary timeline, with many offers made between October 15 and February.

The way I understand it, one must be turned down for EnMed before they are considered by A&M and one may not get both admissions.

In the past applicants have received emails asking them if they want to continue being considered by A&M once EnMed says they are no longer under consideration. It becomes harder for those who continue to be considered by EnMed how to rank during match because it is unclear if A&M can admit them because EnMed didn't during match based on some of the posts from previous years.

I think that is correct.
You're only up for MD consideration after EnMed turns you down, so you won't "be accepted by both."
Some who went through this sequence don't end up getting an A & M MD offer either 😢.

at my interview day with enmed, they told us our interview with enmed would also count for admission to the regular md program at tamu. They told us that sometime before match day, we will find out if we got accepted to enmed or not -- even if rejected to enmed, i think we would have the option to rank tamu on our match list.

For those of you that have interviewed with EnMed (this cycle or previously), what's the best way to study for the quizzes? How in depth do they go, and how many questions are each? Also, how much do the quizzes factor into the admissions decision? Any information that doesn't go into specific content/violate the interview agreement would be very helpful!!! and i'd be very grateful 😊

Edited to correct myself- regular MD interview is MMI format this year.

I believe the MMI may be for EnMed
Someone who has done the regular MD, please chime in on the format.

Actually TAMU switched to MMI this year, same platform as UTMB (kira talent)

By format people were asking if it is MMI - vs - a conversation with one interviewer ( that format is usually 30+ minutes of conversation).
Thanks for the confirmation they are using MMI this year.
 
Hi! Does anyone who has interviewed here know when they received a zoom link for the Monday Orientation and for their MMI? I am doing orientation next Monday, interview Tuesday, and still haven't received any links? It says in the interview email that they send out zoom link the week before the orientation, and its now less than a week.

I know they have one on 10/21 for sure but the other one could be 10/7 (assuming they do bi-weekly). I would email admissions just to be safe assuming you are interviewing before 10/21! Good luck!
