Secondary submitted 6/28. Never got an email stating my file was complete. I just got confirmation that my secondary was submitted.

I've heard this school accepts a larger than normal amount of in-state applicants, making it hard for OOS applicants to get accepted. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

Honestly, this school is super out of state friendly. I think those who matriculate, it’s more like in-state makes up 25% of the class while out of state is about 75%, looking at data on the Choose DO explorer.

This is not true. Over 70% of their students are from out of state. They talked about this on their recent Fireside Chat about being very out of state student friendly.

Haha it was a challenge, I definitely had to cut out a lot.

Cut down the flowery language, and get straight to the nitty-gritty, necessary details to tell the narrative you want. I used anecdotes sparingly, and when I did I only mentioned details that were absolutely necessary to convey clarity. This approach got me an II! best of luck, don't sweat it too much

Yeah I think so. When did you apply? I know WV sent out secondaries later than most other schools I got secondaries from.
