Has anyone done the advisement meeting?
Did they say anything about waitlist movement?just did mine today. said they are wrapping up interviews and hope to be done by april 1st
What is this? On WL but never heard about advisement meetingsHas anyone done the advisement meeting?
It’s a meeting to meet with the committee and get advice surrounding your application. I spoke to admissions as I am on the WL and they said they you can book an advisement meeting to talk about your stats and the WL. Just call them and they will email you a link to sign up for the meeting. What is this? On WL but never heard about advisement meetings
Open file! They have a pretty high post interview acceptance rate. You just have to be yourself and be who you portray on your application. Definitely know the general questions why DO, why do you wanna be a doc, why Rowan, etc. it’s pretty chill and more like a conversation. Best of luck!Any tips for the interview? Is it open or closed file? Got mine coming up In a few days. TY!
Stats? When did you interview and how did you feel like it went?IS Post II WL mannnn
No one knows for sure since this site and Reddit are only a small portion of applicants. But at a minimum u can look at previous years threads and count up the ones from March onward. Since there’s no HPWL this year, it should be a decent amount.anyone have an idea the % of people that get off the waitlist each year? i feel like there’s a lot of students on the waitlist 🤔

Their response regarding students on the waitlist: "patterns of withdrawal can vary a great deal from cycle to cycle. That said, based on historical experience, we still expect to see significant waitlist movement this year so there's good reason to be hopeful!"i wasn’t able to attend the webinar. can someone give a summary and anything they said about the waitlist? thanks!
It was a 3+ hour session LOL. They covered a LOT but nothing crucial that you missed in regards to our WL chances. Mainly clarification for any lingering questions about the school in case you were on the fence, reassuring us of the attrition rates each year, and also answering random questions both publicly and privately from the applicants. I would say a majority of it we covered in the past information sessions. They normally sent out a recording link of the past webinars I believe, if they do, i'll message you if it is sharable.i wasn’t able to attend the webinar. can someone give a summary and anything they said about the waitlist? thanks!
What's your LM score?I did the advisement meeting a few days ago and they told me that the waitlist is ranked by your overall applicant score (stats/ECs/interview) + they factor in commitment (e.g. any NJ/Northeast connections). They didn't tell me my exact score/position, but just said I was generally high on the list, so there's some hope at least.
took ~5 weeks for me but i’ve seen as soon as 2 weeksHow long after the interview should we expect to hear back?
Hi! Someone on SDN mentioned they just emailed to withdraw after paying the deposit and got a super nice response back from the Dean. So yes, once you send the email, that serves as your official withdrawal, and you can expect a confirmation once it’s processed. Fyi, the email is [email protected].Does anyone know the process of withdrawing after paying the $500 deposit? Should I just send them an email saying I will be withdrawing my application? Any insight would be appreciated.
Yeah they take LOIs and update letters for academics or jobs/experiences. I sent both during the cycle.Does anyone know if this school accept letter? Haven’t heard anything since I submitted secondary
69.3, I also felt like my interview went pretty wellWhat's your LM score?
if you haven't done one yet, you should schedule an admissions consultation through their website. They are pretty transparent with where you stand and guide you what steps you should take.Do u think it’s worth it to send one now this late in the cycle?
If you get accepted before May, yep!are all schools operating on the 14 day time period on accepting a seat or declining their acceptance?
I interviewed on 2/12 and I have no heard back either. I was told that I would be given an answer by 4/7 but I still haven't heard since then.Anyone hear back lately? Had my interview on February 11 and have not been given any decision whatsoever.

Anyone from late march interviews hear back yet?
Yeah well if it helps I think Rowan is one of the schools with the biggest Waitlist movements because most of its accepted students also get an MD acceptance but don't back down until like May. As for a rejection it's quite rare after the II, knock on wood. There's hope (idk if this is copium).I called yesterday and the admissions rep told me she was unable to provide a turnaround time
I just wish they took into consideration that is only a few days before you have to hold one acceptance for DOs. Kinda is hell for those who have to balance multiple deposits or is on the fence between schools 😫.I called yesterday and she said that the committee is planning to meet again on April 25th so decisions will be sent out accordingly
