No. At the start, they go around and ask everyone for a basic introduction (where you're from, what school you went to for undergrad, etc). Super laid back day.

It's a month for me. If you call them, they can't say anything either.

I submitted august 5th but had an issue with proof of citizenship….. was not born in the USA. Didn’t get a file complete email until last Thursday

Would it be worth it to send my secondary as OOS from the westcoast? After waiting 6 weeks, i finally got the secondary link but just realized their class profile states 44% are from NC and 56% are from the southeastern United States. in other words do they screen for region as well, so if I got the secondary I should still apply?

Definitely moves a lot. Looking at previous cycles, waitlist movement happens after the December 15 deposit deadline.

I am a current first year here, last year I was waitlisted in December and found out I got in about a month and a half later!

Yes, the pattern of days is every Monday and Tuesday, so I am guessing they just have not updated more days to be added. I would just keep checking and anticipate that 11/25 and 11/26 are added soon.

Yeah I wasn’t really a fan of it, they didn’t really get to know me better. Interviews are my biggest strength and I didn’t get to show that at my top school. Guess they’re just deciding your acceptance off of your primary and secondary.

+1 of this, I didn’t love it either. While I appreciate the initiative they’ve adopted to make students more comfortable during interviews, I think it could’ve been achieved with still having 1-on-1 interviews.. just maybe tailoring them to be more conversational as opposed to the notorious “good cop bad cop” method used in previous years by CUSOM.
