am i cooked if i submit this week?

Hi! Has anyone had their interview yet, and have any insight into the format of it?
One-on-one interview. I was put into a Zoom call with three others and the host. We were then put into breakout rooms with just our interviewer. He had a list of questions, but overall it was very conversational and he was extremely nice and said I did a good job and would make a great physician.

Does anyone have advice on submitting updates to schools that allow them? I recently had papers published where i was an author (never have before) and I want to update them but unsure how to format. Should i just submit a pdf type up saying that i have a paper and talking a little about it? their portal says dont include hyperlinks, but like doi ? maybe

Thank you. I have my interviews in mid October. So was it just one interviewer?

Based on last year's thread, early interviewees should be hearing back next week?

Me too, this was my first interview. Would love to hear back from them next week. Last year's thread shows they sent out on 10/16 As, WLs, and a bunch of pre-II Rs.
same, that's why i'm so nervous bc i had nothing else at the time to base it off. also gtown is one of my tops so i really really hope it works out

Post-ii A rate is probably higher early on given less applicants interviewed and more slots available. You’re in a great spot man
Do you think this sentiment applies to other schools as well or is it case by case

I think it applies pretty broadly. I mean if you’re in the first group of interviewees, it’s because they saw something in your app that they really liked and can see you attending their program. once you interview, all spots are open and they wouldn’t waste an interview on you if they feel like they wouldn’t accept you.

Also, later in the cycle schools might adjust their selection criteria to make a more well-rounded class. For example, if they admit a lot of people who are research heavy, they’ll get some more people who are interested in outreach, social justice, etc. Interviewing first kinda takes that away.
