I honestly don't know. I sent one anyways after I was put in hold last month. But they only replied with "thank you for your continued interest" so hoping it counts for something but I also heard they don't care for it much? Idk

Updates/interest letters are(?) accepted but it sounds like you get a fixed score after the interview, so I don't quite understand why they'd take them if your score won't change. But maybe that's why there's some conflicting info in past threads about whether updates are accepted -- sure you can send them but it won't do much?

Would love to hear if anyone has more insights about LOIs/updates!

During my interview, they specifically said that they only wanted grade-related updates. Not sure if that's changed since my interview date, but they also didn't say anything about LOIs.

Current M1 here, not sure when it’ll be this fall but our first day of orientation was 7/21, white coat was 8/1, first day of actual classes/biochem was 8/11. I don’t think the fall schedule is finalized/posted yet but that should probably be coming up soon

the other dates this year have all come out at once, but I would have thought more would be reported. Of note, there is really bad weather in richmond today and clinics are closed and places have lost power so maybe this impacts things idk
