Two players dead with sk-targeting abilities is interesting

So if there was a serial killer, is that an ability? Would they be combined with a pack that can somehow see roles so they know who to target?

I think sk has to be a lone role? Idk how the combination works in cyo though, id have to default to players who know what theyre doing 😅

My current understanding is that day vig is a role type, and that's the only thing that can kill during the day

SK typically kill at night, day vigilante is more likely why fruits is dead

I quickly skimmed through fruits's posts since today opened and didn't see any glaring red flags for him targeting anyone in particular more than his other sus reads so I have no further conclusions on whether he had a guilty on someone or someone might have thought he had a guilty on them and shot him

I did find his conversation with PSV interesting and I think I've decided I'll probably vote there unless something amazing happens. Feels like that egg needs to be cracked at this point. But I'm not gonna push it closer to maj.

Once Nefi is in bed I'm going to try to do some pointed isos of beans since that was my highest scum read yesterday. And then follow that up with others if I have time. I see a beans yeet is viable today though so interested to see if others are picking up on the same things I did.

There's just no world in which I'm going to be able to read everything or keep up today, not likely for the next two days

1. She's one of the players who could in theory have not been given any town options at all.

Couldn't that in theory be everyone?

3. For being fairly Town read, she's not dead.

It's only D2, are you saying she was town read enough to be an NK target?

4. I really didn't like the way she kind of tried pushing Samac yesterday. It felt a little like a manufactured "got ya" moment to try and get Samac out early.

A lot of people have said they actually thought this was pretty natural. Can you pinpoint what pinged you?

6. She's really been pretty lackluster in her posts and just sort of floating in the background. And it goes beyond not just being here as much. Her thoughts feel crowdsourced from ideas on the consensus rise.

This isn't a question, but as someone who is also mid finals at UMN, I don't think this is as AI as it would normally be.

7. Whatever arguments you have related to how you think she "sounds village" because you think she's scum hunting - THIS IS MULTIBALL - Scum hunts Scum. Of course she sounds like she's scum hunting, she is, kind of - scum is a threat to her just as much as it is to village.

Can't this theoretically be said about everyone?

I don't know that I want to vote PSV today, but I'm desperately trying to find any village, so I want to understand your thoughts.

Now, this is my next thought that I have not looked into at all.

By the end of yesterday, I was feeling village leans on samac, shorty, and dubz. Statistically speaking, I do not think they're all village. My question for myself and others is I feel like for the most part (this is coming from my memory and brain noggin, not actually looking all the way back through thread), these three are all being village read to an extent. I would be interested to hear from people who currently have thoughts on any of them.

I hmmed this because I saw samac and Dubz did, and thus I felt that it was necessary for comedic effect

and also I had fomo

Personally, I don't think it's damning. I think there's a near 0% chance that shot came from beans. I'll eat one of @samac's shoes if it actually did.

My shifting her out of my POE was primarily based on a microread from this post:


I think this post comes from a towny mindset. I don't think the middle paragraph, in particular, is necessarily something that someone who was scum hunting other scum would think of. But someone who is town and trying to figure out a way to sift out other town from scum scum-hunting would.

But also, a not-insignificant part of my having her in my POE before was because I felt like she and I were seeing the game in a much more diametrically opposed way than it turned out we really were. That wouldn't be a way I'd come to a read on someone I haven't played with much - for example, kitz and I are clearly seeing this game very differently, and I don't have her in my POE, but because of the history that I have with Dubz, that was significant to me. Until I looked back and it actually wasn't that different lol. (so maybe it turns out that samac can't read and I can't retain the information I do read without maintaining a spreadsheet)

Okay, I have coffee and my computer. First thoughts (I'm not pulling quotes I'm currently just skimming but can pull them if needed):

Fruit was village. I was feeling more today that fruits was leaning village because they usually don't spiral like that if they're scum being pushed. Of course, I know that's easy for me to say now that fruits is confirmed village.

Which makes me look at who was pushing them. Me, spurs, barks, beans, and Alissa.

Alissa's push of fruit felt like it was coming from a V perspective of someone who has not played with the enigma that is fruitsalad.

Spurs was scummy.

Barks voted spurs day one initially. Barks also said they weren't initially town reading Alissa but now have a soft village lean on her. Barks was however pretty insistent that fruit was pushing them hard (which I do see in the iso with the posts mentioning them).

Beans..... I'm having a hard time with Beans. I see village beans in her attempts to solve, but I also see what shorty saw in her evaluation of the beans post. I don't think I'm ready to try to go over on beans today.

Of these people I feel worst about barks>beans>Alissa, in that order.

you know what's annoying is when I quote this post to ask a question and then I read the post more carefully and see the answer to my question in the line above where I actually started reading.

I don't put a lot of stock in the whole village vs scum discard thing because even if we know someone had a village option and they prefer villaging, their village ability options might have SUCKED so it's just not something I tend to pay attention to
