Does anyone recall what they had said during the interviews about getting fixed residency positions?

Thanks!.. will do my best!I bet, work hard and get an interview invite now. Good luck.
nope not yet.. i was told i would get it in a day or so,, i assumed and hoped it was today.. hopefully comes in by MondayDid you get the secondary?
I had my interview on the 18th and have still not heard back yet... I hope that's not a bad thing, bc I would really love to end up at Liberty. During the interview process they said it would take 2-3 weeks before a decision was made, but bc my interview was on the 18th idk if thanksgiving week would have affected their timeline. I am thinking I should hear back this week on if I will be given an acceptance or rejection, lets hope its an acceptance 🙂..
If anyone has heard back who was from the Nov 18th interview pls let me know! Ty in advance
I interviewed on the Nov 25th... On that day they indicated the next committee meeting was on December 6th. Meaning it was the very end of last week. I would expect a group of acceptances to go out today or tomorrow. Keep your phone near!!!Hey DietCoke,
I remember you from the interview on the 18th, I also interviewed from that day and I haven't heard anything yet. So rest assured, I am on the same boat as you!

The campus is nice, the interviewers and staff in general are extremely friendly. Conversation will be easy so just try and be yourself and speak up. Don't forget that before the interview, you will have lunch with faculty that have conducted interviews so that time is very much evaluative too in terms of them getting to know you in a more relaxed setting. I am fairly certain they will sit on the admissions committee too. I am not saying they all will but I am sure some are mixed in.I'm interviewing a week from today and I'm so nervous! Any tips?

Has anyone that interviewed from Nov. 18th on gotten a call yet? I have been on the edge of my seat for the last two days.
I called them today again, and told me I was in a "hold" category,,, they had to manually review my app and decide what the next step was. ;(
Already done! I am the most recent to join, I believe.Congrats everyone. Join the Facebook page so we can get a little more acquainted before class starts

YES, so excited! interview in a week as well! See you there Indianarn! & congrats everyone! 🙂
For those that have been accepted, who usually calls you?
Dr. Martin (the Dean) personally calls you. It certainly is a nice touch. Would be neat if more schools did this.
That sure is a very nice touch. I have an interview next week. Can't wait to see the school, area, and meet everyone.
You'll love it. Everyone is pleasant, from the locals to the school staff/administration. Best of luck on your interview!
So I made an account just so I could post on this. I interviewed here in October and was accepted in November(yay), but I had a few gripes about this school… It’s mostly the fact that they are a tad bit controlling. I mean, I like to have a glass of wine after an exam to calm my nerves a bit and settle down. Heck, maybe even a cigarette or two just after exam time. But I feel that by coming here, I have to change my way in such a way that it’s uncomfortable. I mean, we’re all adults here, we’re responsible (I feel that by being accepted here the school knows that as well)—I feel that we should be able to have at least those freedoms considering we’re not undergrads. My boyfriend of 3 years is also moving out here with me, and if I want to be romantic with him, I have to worry about getting kicked out of the school? It’s frightening. I’m not sure if anyone else has this fear as I do. I mean I consider myself extremely religious, but I feel that for a grad school it’s a tad bit overwhelming. Am I the only one that thinks this coming to the school? Am I a bad person?? :x
From the impression that I got, they really are not that controlling. Yes, they do have strict regulations for undergrads, but I don't think it applies to graduate students. What you choose to do in the comforts of your own home is your business. So long as you are not engaging in these activities on campus I think you will be fine. Then again, if you already have doubts this early on I would really take the time to assess whether or not you want to spend the next four years there! And no, YOU ARE NOT A BAD PERSON!!! Congratulations on your acceptance!!! No matter what you choose to do, I am sure you will do great!!!
I think there will be lots of students here who enjoy going out and having a couple of drinks after a tough exam. We're all old enough to drink legally and should know how to do so responsibly. On a different note, has anyone been able to find out more info on how exactly rotations are going to work 3rd and 4th year (i.e.. will be be expected to move)? I've looked up the affiliated hospitals on their website but don't remember them telling us anything else on interview day. I have to decide between this school and another school in about a week, so any new info from recent interviewers or anyone else would be greatly appreciated!
Summer and Prowd-
I'm sure doing this isn't bad as long as I keep it at home, but I also feel like a terrible person because of this because i'm "breaking the rules." I'm not that kind of person! I just don't know what i'd do with myself if I was at a restaurant/bar enjoying dinner with my significant other and I happened to have a red wine with my steak-- or even beer with my wings (if i'm having that kind of day) and someone from admissions walked in and kicked me out of med school because of it.
Since mostly all of the other new schools that had their inaugural class this year gave their students iPads or laptops. I wonder if Liberty will do anything like that?
