They didn't get to my file today :/ Anyone else in the same boat? Sorry to those who didn't get accepted... And good luck to everyone else!
30 MCAT 3.6 GPA for both science and cumulative I believe.Stats for people who were rejected - if you do not mind.

Don't get discouraged my friend. It's more than just stats. I am going through a rough patch right now with family issues so I am pretty sure I botched my interview.Oh wow. I'm doomed.

I hope so. MUCOM is a top choice of mine. I hope things work out for you and your family.
Anyone else interviewing on Nov 8th with me?!
I'll be there the 9th! Finally haha. I'm getting really nervous... on one hand, I'm really glad the interview is simply about YOU, not your stats. On the other hand, that makes me nervous in case I mess things up. I really want a chance to choose this school, but I feel like so many people are getting rejected! Def way more nervous for this than other interviews.
For those that are accepted how do you find what quartile you fall into?

Got the acceptance call today!!! 😀😀😀 It was at a very "inopportune time"-- I read about that happening to others on here but never thought it'd happen to me haha. I'm so excited my hands are still shaking haha
I've stayed in the baymont inn on eagle view drive during both of my interviews and they had a shuttle to and from the school and the airport. I'd definitely recommend that hotelDoes anybody know which hotels have a shuttle service to and from the airport and school? Appreciate it.

Yes it is. That caused a few moments of confusion haha. I think it's now called Baymont Suites Indy WestWas that the hotel formaly known as the Jameson Inn? The information Marian sent seems outdated if that is the case.

It depends on what group you are in. Everyone arrives at the same time and the early group interviews first, tours second while the later group tours first and then interviews. For those that have already interviewed at MU-COM.... Do we get the campus tour and info session before we interview? Or do we interview first before everything? Thanks!
Question.
Is there any kind of fellowships @ Marian during medical school? For instance, like AZCOM's OMM fellowship at 3rd year (medical school becomes 5 years, but year 3,4 and 5 are paid, including food and rent)
no, the shuttle i believe begins at 7 am but idk how late it goes because ive only gotten there around dinner time at the latest. during my interview a week ago i had to get a taxi in the morning to get to my 4am flight, but really the shuttle has not caused me any problems. I made the shuttle reservation way in advance and forgot to call them to remind them as i was flying in, so i called them when i got to indy and they sent one right away (it took about 15 minutes to get there) no questions asked.Lol thanks.....do you know if the shuttle service runs 24/7 to and from the airport? Did you have any difficulties scheduling the shuttle to/from the school?
There were no role-playing or teamwork stations. Just ethical scenarios where you had to verbally discuss it with the interviewer. Pretty straight forward and overall very enjoyable, actually. Those of you who had an interview recently, did you have "role play" or teamwork activities as part of your MMI ?! I just want to know what to expect 😉 Thanks
Quick question for current students:
On the financial aid email I received I saw that there's a "live on-campus." I was wasn't aware that there was graduate housing at MU and no one mentioned it at the interview. Do you know if any or many students take advantage of the on campus living? where can I find more info on this. I really wish MU-COM updated their website more often.. it hasn't been so resourceful 🙁

Does MU have a significant area preference or is there a good chance for international students.PS. The MU-COM public website is being redesigned now. All of your info as an admitted student will be in admissions portal!

Hi MU-COM,
Are interviewees allowed to bring a piece of paper to jot down their ideas for the MMI?
Congrats to all of the acceptances! I just reviewed their website and virtual tour, and I'm very excited to be submitting my secondary application this weekend (better late than never...).
I'm sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but can some speak about Marian's study spaces and library? They briefly touch upon community study areas in the video, but I'm having trouble finding info about individual study spots and their med school library (do all students use the Mother Theresa Hackelmeier Memorial Library? Or is there a separate med/nursing library?).
Also, if anyone has a link or info about their student clubs/organizations other than intramural sports, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Many thanks in advance. Good luck to everyone who is applying! 🙂
